There's a new pizza boy in town...
... and he's here to deliver to you some nice warm pizza straight from his bagpack! But he must be careful; the masses won't stop growing and demanding more pizza, "more!" they say, and it is up to you, the player, to help the boy keep his delivery job.

wonderful job! i remember making a VERY similar game a few jams back, and the 3d graphics were a little hard to pull off, so I commend you for doing that. I think the gameplay here was not fully realized though- the idea of delivering pizzas here seems to be entirely in concept. Also, after a point, the game becomes impossible to beat.

The people you drew are very charming and I love the art! great work!

this is a thing that exists in the world.

i love riding my bike in real life and love it in this game too. really chill

some audio or visual feedback when you deliver the pizza would make the game a lot more fun! :) but nice work on the sprites and funny drawn people

Unbalanced; the difficulty ramps up in this fast without any way to do anything about it; mathematically impossible to get to the last levels.

I went all the way down to the 7th layer of Dante's Formaggi and found satan himself stuck from the waist up in a pool of piping hotcheese. I really liked seeing the fun little character designs but the gameplay felt a bit too simple. Some basic acceleration or obstacles would have already made a big difference. Visuals made it a very cool entry overal though good stuff.

It's quite impressive to make a 3D game in GameMaker in such a short amount of time! While the visuals are simple, it's still a fun little game, although I wish the map was bigger and maybe had a few obstacles, but it's great nevertheless!

Always novel to see a 3D game in a gm48! This was fairly simple, but it did the job - easy to get into, with some replayability. I think completing a stage should probably have provided a time bonus though, I've no idea how anyone could have the time to get past the stage with 25 people on it, I was only on like 7 seconds left when I got to it 😅

I can feel the blessing hand of Dragonite's tutorials somewhere here.

Again, it's always nice to see a 3D GameMaker game in a jam, however gross it might be. The fact that you even attempted this at a game jam is worthy of my respect lol.

Going around "collecting" people was honestly more fun than I expected. I actually spent quite some time in this one, despite all the problems. But then again, 3D in GameMaker is a hellhole, so I won't blame you.

At first I thought it was waaay to simple, but then after playing, having to plan your route in order too keep the time high was actually quite fun! I think the game could do with a lot more variety tho. Some obstacles maybe, variety in the level. Also, adding some juice would really improve the game. Some sound or animation when delivering the pizzas, something like that.

I think it's very ambitious making a 3D game in this amount of time, though I feel some other aspects of the game may have been sacrificed in making it 3D, it was a fun experience but some more sound effects might have helped it. The difficulty ramps up fast but I think you've got some solid foundations here if you decide to expand on this post-jam, good job!

Thank you! The game indeed was meant to be a bigger experience; a simple town and obstacles (cars, people, trees) but it was obviously far too ambitious for just 24 hours, and one developer. But, in part due to your words of encouragement, I have proceeded with development - so maybe it will see a full release eventually...

Going for a game in 3D for a jam is very ambitious. I would have loved to see some more scenery that the player has to navigate around in the space, but the controls were smooth so great work on that! I managed to get to the 6th level a couple of times and would love to see how that stacked up against other players too.

This was quite a simple game but I think it works for what you were going for. I liked the low-effort artstyle the game has, and appreciated the sheer number of different characters you drew for it. Having the camera perfectly attached to the character was a little unpleasent, but it wasn't bad. The main thing that made me not want to play was the music- I know sound is a judging criteria here, but honestly I think silence would have been better. The hud was also pretty bland. In terms of gameplay, I don't really know how the additional time is figured out but it felt especially stingy to me. I lost on level 6 which I ended up starting with 3 seconds, which felt impossible. Still, it seems like you set out to make what you were aiming for, and while not particularly ambitious it is, indeed, a game.
