Nice graphics, challenging game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the GM48, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/ZzdTZAUuWWs

I really love dodging all over the place. It's fun and looks cool too. I'm not seen on having to recollect the bullet. It's a good concept but it feels a bit tedious here. Maybe it would be better if the levels were a bit smaller or the enemies took less hits.

The graphics are really nice and the animations for everything look great. The music is a bit repetitive though.

Oh yeah, a 3 second loop isn't enough for music. It was slowly driving me crazy :D

Too bad you make us restart from the first level though, as the first two aren't really hard, just long.

Other than that the game is pretty polished, only thing you overlooked is that you added x and y speed, so moving in diagonals is too fast compared to just up/down or left/right

    Finished the second level then...

FATAL ERROR ...okay no, I'm joking. I actually just died because the triangles dude spawned on me lol. My fault for keeping close from the puddle. Didn't fell like restarting though cause the first two levels take forever :/

Also the music gets very repetitive

    Aside that, fun game!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you on the level length, should have put more time into play testing it. Music is my weakest skill so I’m happy with any at all but I totally agree that it gets repetitive.

      Thank you for the feedback!

    Finished the third level then...

    FATAL ERROR
    ...
    for object o_enemy_grouper_parent:

Unable to find any instance for object index '100615'
    at gml_Object_o_enemy_grouper_parent_Step_0

Other than that, pretty good game. Takes a bit too long though I'd say, seems excessive for it to take several minutes to clear out a room of enemies. I like that all the attacks are telegraphed, that's nice.

No, how sad! I've must've forgotten to despawn the parent after they all die... Oh well. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing.

Yeah I should probably have lowered the spawn count and spawn wait times.

Love the gameplay, I'm a big fan of games like this, and you nailed the titan souls feel, most problems I found with the game are more technical than anything really, like collisions and more game-breaking things, like enemies that stopped spawning, effectively softlocking the game. The idea was nice tho, and I felt like you implemented it pretty well and made a fun game out of it, too bad for the bugs, the stability is probably the biggest problem for this game.

Edit: The groupers on the third level, maybe it had something to do with me waiting to kill all the blobs first before getting onto the last grouper.

Thank you for the feedback! :). Yeah the collision bugs were a last minute fix and sadly not very effective fixes 😉.

Do you have a more info on the non-spawning enemies, maybe which enemy and level? They should always spawn within 2-7 seconds.

Nice looking game with snappy controls and a decent premise that adheres to the theme well. One thing, I still wasn't sure if when the enemies flashed they took damage? It seemed that way, but the lack of sound cues made it difficult to be sure.

    Fun little game though.

Thanks for the kind words and feedback. I wholeheartedly agree that the lack of sound cues and impact on the enemies makes it unintentionally hard to play. I will put more time on juicing my game next time around.

Very nice little game! I hope this game gets some more attention. I love the graphics and the music is very appropriate for the setting. I would've liked to see a little more visual feedback when the bullet hits enemies, or some sound fx. Oo i also loved the little rool animation! So nice and bouncy. Nice job!

Thank you so much, and I totally agree I spent far too long on creating the enemies I forgot to juice it til' I loose it. The game is missing that oomph when shooting and hitting enemies ^_^.
