Wild game! I included it in my GM48: Collect! compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/AJIXJbuzz8E

I had the exact same experience as Baku and kbjwes. The sounds weren't too harsh on the ears and the graphics were nice and simple. I wish there would be some kind of background, so I know what direction I'm moving into

Read Baku's review, that was my exact experience. Some music and random pitch offsets for the sfx would have gone a long way. Also the UI was quite small, maybe consider making it a little easier to read? Seems like there's potential here but the mark was missed in giving the player a reason to stay engaged.

Thank you for playing, Sound is one of my biggest if not the biggest gap in knowledge I have in gamedev. I'll be sure to try pitch offsets next time I implement shooting in a game. :)

Juicy little game, but unfortunately I quickly found a strategy to easily cheese out the game and basically keep playing forever with doing much: just fly off in one direction, and keep drifting in that direction while shooting the enemies and bullets that wizz by, slowly racking up points without losing fuel or health. If there had been some limited ammo or overheating system, that could've been mitigated

Thank you for playing, I knew about the flying off in one direction before submission but couldn't think of a nice way to balance it with the time I had left. I like the idea of a overheating system and wish I thought about it before submission. :)

Man, this game feels great. The sound that shooting makes, the way you move and look around, the art style, it's all great. Even the way the screen shakes for no apparent reason - that's great too. The camera work is incredible. I can't believe you did that all with GameMaker. My only critique is that fuel feels a bit rare. I could totally see playing this one in my downtime.
