Summary
Players appreciated the game's music and the clever ideas behind the boss fight, as well as the humorous narrator. However, several noted issues with gameplay feedback such as lack of a health bar, unclear enemy hit feedback, and repetitive or easy boss mechanics. Controls were generally solid but the overlap of the fire button with dismissing tutorial messages caused frustration. Visuals and level design were seen as simplistic or lacking polish.

This game had potential! I like the narrator's presence and how he interacts with the player (why would I not? I did the same aha); however I wished that what he said at the beginning about "making you obey" would matter more in the game. It is a nice addition but I would have liked to see it being a bit more important! Other than that the music and sounds were not bad! I wish the visuals were at the same level though, it felt too simplistic (lack of animation, especially in the player models since enemies are animated... i think they were?) also, the blob you rescue seems to have no importance since it's only just following you (cannot even get hurt by the boss' spikes) Please, when you have a character with more than one health, add an health bar! Boss was not a bad idea but it felt a bit too long and repetitive (also, it was too easy and predictable)

Decent game with alright graphics. Some of the messages are amusing, so I wish the skip message button wasn't the same as the shoot button. Currently it's easy to accidentally skip messages. The gameplay itself is okay, but there should be more feedback when you hit/kill an enemy and some way to tell how much health you have. The level music is pretty nice and the boss music is great.

Few problems: I can't tell if enemies are going to take one or two shots to kill, tutorial messages popping up every five seconds is damn annoying, the boss's attacks are kind of easy.
The boss music is great though

Music was great. Controls felt pretty solid, although I would make sure the button to fire (which is what the player is likely to be spamming) isn't the button to dismiss the helpful text boxes that pop up as well.
For the boss, I think the fatigue bar should increase gradually or as he takes individual actions. During the first long add-spawn phase I wasn't sure if I was actually progressing in the fight. I thought I should be looking for some way to actively fatigue him because the bar not moving gave me the idea I wasn't making progress.
