Become the monsters you've killed. Then spend baddies to upgrade all future monsters. When you die, choose a monster to become. The cycle repeats.....forever.
WASD = movement
Arrow Keys = attack

This was really interesting take on theme, though maybe enemy designs weren't the best. I liked how you would use previous enemies as lives, but also used them as points to upgrade. Coming back needed somekind of immortality, as it with pink dudes I got immediately killed, and they kept spawning new ones until I respawned. Harsh way to lose. Overall, this has some potential to make bit further :)

Thank you for playing! :) Yep that seems to be a big one with coming back. It does sap all the fun. Thanks again for the nice feedback! :)

Same as havik, super confused at first. You kept it cryptic, it was not obvious, so it's chaotic to understand.
The balance design was is great and it's fun to play as different enemies! It was really fun!
But my fun was completely spoiled when I got in a very late wave. I was upgraded to hell, with like 500 attack and 200 health. I've initially been having fun with red Spike, then tried the pink dude. Yeah, fun to use, but I preferred the red spike after a while. So I killed myself on purpose and... It was over for me. I had 0 opportunity to respawn as the screen was insanely crowded, with no chance to even manage to shoot. As soon as I pressed an attack button, I already was selecting an other monster. The culprit? The complete absence of invincibility frames That alone completely destroyed my fun because even though I had a TON of monsters, they ran out extremely quickly. I was unbeatable and got beat by the lack of invincibility frames :/ Not to mention, did the health upgrade do anything? It never felt like it was in any way impactful.
Anyway, it was still fun up until that point!

Thank you for the feedback!! :) I was worried about the lack of iframes too. It is super disheartening for sure to get so far only to be overcrowded like that. The upgrade system was thrown in right at the end so the health upgrade does do something but only takes effect on new monsters.
Thanks again for playing!

Well, it took me a little while to figure out what was going on. I thought I was just dying and re-spawning as a random enemy and that was it... ...then I realised I could CHOOSE what enemy to respawn as from the ones I had killed before. Then it made much more sense, quite a cool idea too!
Once I got upgraded I was pretty unstoppable though. I thought the pink blob thing was the best for a while but, its a bit slow. The red spikey dude however, once upgraded a lot, is almost unstoppable. So I stuck with him :D
Is there an end to the game? I kept upgrading for quite a while and kept fighting wave after wave each time (slightly larger waves?).
But yeah, cool idea for the respawning once I figured it out, enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing! :) I didn't do a good job explaining picking enemies. Balance got thrown to the wayside ha. The only enemies that really benefit from the upgrades are the pink guys and the spikey dudes. Yep the game justs goes on forever until your spawning like 500 spikes at a time. SO I guess the game ends when it finally crashes haha! :)
Thanks again!
