Funny idea. I included it in my GM48: Collect! compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/7cH9DVFtgzM

The game looks amazing, and the menus are great. Not sure about the whole collect "donuts" thing, it didn't really add to the game at all and just felt tacked on. The gameplay itself was sooo close to being perfect, but the controls felt clunky, like the execution just wasn't there and it really set back an otherwise great idea. I know I say this a lot but this is truly a case of a game with lots of potential, just needs a bit of play testing and a bit of revision. One of the more original game ideas, I wish you best of luck!

You clearly had a reason to opt for tank controls, but even then I found it pretty annoying to control. The fact that collisions are super broken didn't help much on that front.

Whenever I'd get a "perfect", the game would just never end the level, basically softlocked as far as I could tell, and I'd have to restart the game...

Also, I don't think the GUI is scaled quite right...?

At least the game looks pretty good!

There's a lot to like in this game, but it's hampered by some big stability and presentation issues.

The art and flavor are both good, I like the way the glass shatters as you throw stuff out and I think that the UFO showing everything you collected at the end is a really nice touch of polish.

The collisions in the game are unpredictable and various errors occur. Sometimes you lose the ability to turn at all for seemingly no reason, and you often get stuck inside objects and have to slowly wait to be pushed out of them.

There's no sound, and the menus are a bit hard to navigate (I couldn't put my cursor on the "buy a gacha" option at all, not sure if I was doing something wrong or if the menu doesn't use WASD controls).

The fully blank gm48 site page is also not great, since that's your first impression. Adding a description, a banner, and an icon to your page should not be ignored.

First and foremost - loved the art style of this. The way the character was drawn especially gave me Toejam & Earl vibes, and generally it had a very unique aesthetic to the game.

I loved the concept too - defenestrate the furniture to repossess it 😄

I did have a few issues with it on a technical level though. I got stuck in walls twice, once having to reset the game entirely and a second time I managed somehow to slide out of it. At one point (I think after I'd got all the gacha rewards once) I bought one and got an empty gacha gift, after which it looped back to the dog boomerang. Also, I can't apparently buy a gacha gift if I have exactly 5 bucks, even though they cost 5 bucks. Lastly, the first time I got a "Perfect", it was overlaid with "Time Over" and then the game seemed to softlock, which is unfortunately why I stopped playing.

Understandable issues given the tight time constraint though, and I definitely got more than a few smiles out of the silliness of breaking a window by turfing a toilet through it! 😄

(And, given my previous GM48 entry was called Sympathy for the Level, I also commend you on the game's name 😆)

I enjoyed this game! The art was fantastic and really charming. I did have some stability issues, all of the menus were cut off for me. I'm not sure if that was because I was playing on a somewhat small screen or what. It looked like maybe there was some sort of shop or something, but I couldn't figure out how to access it, being only able to see part of the menu. In game everything played well, however. The tank controls were a little janky, but I think that was kind of the point, so I'll forgive that.

The character design was fun, and I like the way the game interpreted the theme. Overall, very well done.
