Description

The wheel of color is composed of six colors (aka, orenji, ki, midori, ao, and murasaki). Hold the spin button to adjust the spin power. When the wheel stops, your marker is moved to the next color on the board matching the color where the arrow is pointing. Your marker moves left to right and bottom to top of the board.

There are three types of spaces on the board. Numbers represent points, which are added to your total score. Plus spins give you additional spins on the wheel. Bankrupt with reset your score to zero.

The game board is randomly generated each time, so each game is completely unique.

Simple but well made game! I included it in my GM48: Colors are Important compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/QrF-3ZnvIJU

Definitely gives me a digital casino feeling. I could imagine getting points and paying to spin etc. Very nicely presented and slick UI. The actual spinning is perfect and satisfying, and the tension build up as it slows down is exactly what the input needed to not feel like an RNG button. Nicely implemented and tied together - it's also unlike anything else i've seen in the jam.

I almost landed on bankrupt once, and I had to hold my breath... It was tense.

I fully appreciate where this game could go. I love the randomly generated board and that there are definitely some interesting moments built in with the bankrupt spots. Had a close call at on my last spin, yikes.

I'm curious to see what this game would've felt like if I had a way to influence the spin in some way. Say for instance being able to weight the wheel to favor my odds or having a difficult but possible to control timing mechanism (even if it really didn't help). In some ways it's thrilling to be helpless, but I would have loved to interact with your game more.

The look and feel is A+ though. Good elements and music to support the somewhat chill, casino vibe of the gameplay.
