I'm just going to leave this message here since people seem to be getting confused: When you have a key, go up to a gate and left-click on it to open it.

Also, please read this entire page before downloading (it's not long). It contains some vital info not explained in the game.

Summary

Players praised the game's graphics and art style, finding it fun and visually appealing. However, several gameplay issues were noted, including loud music volume, enemy AI behavior, small hit-boxes, and unsatisfying combat feedback. Difficulty balance was also a concern, particularly with the bow weapon and challenging enemies.

The wizards were really hard to beat and I felt bow was just hindrance, as it only gave damage for short period of time. This was issue when I got 6-7 bows in a row for second wizard, couldn't beat it with it, more skeletons popped than I could kill. I managed barely to beat the second wizard with a sword, it was really hard. Maybe next time not constant damage giving, but a hits, which could be more satisfying and same time feel more like you are hitting enemy, not just holding at them. But nice game otherwise :)

I really liked the art style in your game. And the overall vibes of the game.

There were some things that were bothering me though ->The music was kinda loud

-> The enemies react strange to the player, they stop when you walk around a corner

    • I suppose this is a code problem but widening the corridors could temporarily fix this

-> The hit-boxes felt too small, the arrows did sometimes not hit even when a enemy was in front of you

    • Improving the hit-boxer making the map a little bigger would surely help

-> The feedback you get of hitting an enemy was not very satisfying

    • Maybe some knock-back, change in color or animation could improve that

I, sadly enough, kinda sucked at playing the game so I couldn't finish it but I'm keen on seeing your next entry in the gm48 :)

Man the graphics in this game is so good! The game overall is extremely fun to play :D The only thing I can really critique is the volume of the music on first launch haha.
