You're not stuck in walls because the top of your hitbox is on your head, so that's good, but enemies can still kill you if they touch your head :(

Cool game. I always enjoy your goofy style. The art never feels polished but it does have its own charm. The music and sound effects are good, plus I like the cutscenes that explain the story.
The shoe colours with different powers are a cool idea, but they could do with a bit more balancing. Yes, the invincibility shoes move slow but there's nothing really preventing you from using them everywhere. Perhaps each colour could have a limited usage meter. You could have recharge pickups for each colour which you let you balance things by placing less recharges to the more powerful shoes in each level.

Love the shoe idea and that it is structured in a story format. The art and cut-scenes were spot on. And the music was great.
Only critique is it was super easy. The blue invincible shoes are OP. Put them on and literally just strolled through the levels :)

A dramatic conclusion to the tragic tale of Anthony Sullivan. Good game, but it felt a little easy overall. Still had fun playing it though.

I know it's a joke game, but I have a soft spot in my heart for these kinds of experiences. I like the silly but catchy music loops (especially the second one), the silly unfinished but humorous art, the immersion was strong with this one and It feels like a game that was fun to make, which makes it more fun to play. I can imagine Vinny from Vinesauce playing this game and getting a good laugh. There's also a decent amount of content for a game jam game, and even 2 "acts" so to say so that's pretty cool. Theming-wise, I really like the idea of a guy who just keeps his hands in his pockets and gets stuff done anyways.
The things that bothered me include the fireballs killing you even if they touch your head (which they should be below). The level designs are not great, and rely too much on the invincibility shoes (my least favorite pair, since you move so slowly). Finally, most shoes are not actually needed with the current levels besides invincibility and stomp.
Interesting experience!
