This game was made for the GM48. It is an endless runner and the keys are pretty simple, use Q to create the bow/arrow , W for the shield and SPACE to jump. If you have a complete bow with an arrow you can press left click and the arrow will go towards the direction that it is facing, the use of the bow/arrow is to kill the wolfs and for the shield you block the arrows, the wolfs and the arrow kills you. After you die it reveals your score and you have options to replay or go to menu or end the game. Can't wait to see what was your best score in the feedback.

Nice idea! I included it in my GM48: One Tool, Many Uses compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/i6dgliSj-A0

I like the concept of a game "in a budget" but I still feel it would have helped to have a bit more to it. The music gets VERY repetitive and annoying after the first 4 times you hear it because it is a very short loop. Since it was made by human voice, it would have been a nice touch to have a much longer song...
Not sure what the purpose of jumping is, it's impossible to avoid the cats as their hitbox is huuuuge. The gameplay itself gets quickly repetitive since you only have the shield and arrow but, yeah, on a budget :p

hey kwis uhm the music is supposed to be like that since we are on a budget we can't even afford music so it's annoying i am glad you actually find it annoying and repetitive and about the jump you are supposed to jump from the arrow not the wolf i thought it was pretty obvious when the arrow got on your legs but yeah. thanks for your feedback <3

Well it's on a budget. OK idea, annoying music, and it's really on a budget.

You can clearly see the In-A-Budget part of the title, but what you can't fail to notice even if you try to is the fact that the game is endless, and that's because it is really really repetitive, the music gets annoying too after a bit, and that just brings down the overall quality by a ton.
The idea was still ok, and it was an alright interpretation of the theme, you should try to develop it further next time tho.

The basic concept of an endless runner with an orb following you and helping you is pretty cool. The "budget" theme is also a cool idea and melds well with a game jam. Jumping could be removed as a mechanic, since blocking and shooting arrows is always better (and hey, less mechanics = less budget, hehe).
I like the idea of using your voice and having it sound silly/weird (it fits your budget theme and can potentially be really funny) but it's too short. Check out the title music in the game "Illogical Journey of the Zambonis" for a perfect example of how to design "budget" style music (and for some great laughs).
Like, imagine if you had been saying "Endless Runner!" repeatedly as lyrics to some epically budget song, could have been amazing.
My highscore: 6400 something

I'm glad you got the idea and you liked it the jump was because sometimes the wolfs actually came with an arrow because after like 2-3 mins this gets more difficult so you can jump and shot at the same time , either way good job on your highscore and thanks for the tips :)

Played once, couldn't work out what was going on, read the instructions, ah now I see.
After a few tries I got 5443. The game was well programmed, and collisions were good. Controls on the mouse raising and lowering the tool were a little slow, but I guess that's by design.
Having a menu and a little intro was nice. Unfortunately time must of got the better of you as the sound was pretty bad, with only a few effects. Thumbs up for your voice music, but a mute would of been nice hehe.
Overall, decent effort in the time, congrats on getting a jam game made in 48hrs.
