// a small green man who likes fruit wants to explore. to the right. because that's what you do in a platformer. also, things turn.

WASD controls. Couple of basic tutorial-like levels introducing mechanics and some grand plans... that didn't make it into the game (yet.)

Neat game! I included it in my GM48: One Tool, Many Uses compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/CSolNVWY9mU

Kinda okay, short. I like the character sprite; however the controls are a bit strange. You have acceleration when starting to move but as soon as you stop, you stop immediately. Except after jumping on platforms where you slide as if it was ice. And btw I wish we had a bit more control when in the air.

The first room with moving platforms was surprisingly hard cause you gotta get used to the controls. Once you pass that level, the rest is super easy. So yeah the difficulty comes from getting how the controls work :/

Definitely needs a lot of work on the control. The character slides a lot, and doesn't jump when they should oftentimes. You get stuck on a lot of things, like if you try to get on the platforms while they are spinning, you have to restart. I did manage to get to the end though and it never crashed on me, so at least it wasn't impossible to beat. I also didn't have the slowdown problems that Fachewachewa mentioned.

The animation wasn't bad and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the character looked while holding the box. The music was quiet but that fact that it was there and decent helps the game a lot.

    Cute game, especially the music.

But... I'm not sure what's happening, it feels like the game is running at something like 10 FPS, with crazy input lag (especially when pressing down or R, sometimes it seems like there's a few seconds of lag). With the way the character lands I guess there's something wrong with collision checking.

Sometimes jumps just don't work when you're on platforms. Also, on the last level I got sent back to the previous one. My guess is I pressed down two times because nothing happened, then got sent to the last level, then took the door to the previous level. (i'm not even sure you can go back this way, I didn't test it since you go back to the beginning of the room)

Oof. Sorry about that. We knew there were collision & grounding issues, sorry about the other problems, especially fps/lag, it was just fine in that regard on our end :/

The idea was that you could take the door back to the last level (in the right place, not the beginning), and maybe we'd do something cool with that, but we didn't manage to. Probably should have taken out the back doors since they weren't functional.

The art and music were both really cute, fooled me into believing this would be a fun and easy game. But whoa! I kept dying on the first room with the rotating platforms lol. Kept sliding off, and sometimes the jump button didn't work >.<

Didn't really understand how you used the theme tbh

Artist here! Thanks :) yeah, sorry about that, we didn't get collisions & grounding working all that well.

And with the theme, haha... we had more ideas for things that would turn, which was how we were going to follow the theme, but ran out of time trying to figure other stuff out, and only really managed to get one use of the mechanic :/ so that didn't work out too well.

do not let the cuteness fool you. This is like the dark souls of puzzle platformers. I am proud to say I made it to the end. I think my brain is drained from working on my game.

I really thought the character was cute and appreciate the relaxing music you put in the game.

The controls were a bit hard to get used to since my player was sliding and had some collisions but I was able to complete it all the way to the end.
