Push around ice to make elaborate towers to climb your way from the bottom of a ravine to the very top, where a warm, cozy igloo will be waiting to take you in. Controls: -WASD for movement -R to reset the level -Hold down C to power up a jump. Release to jump. -SPACE to jump -Collide with ice blocks to move them

There are some issues on the platforming... I think there is a good idea in this game. Graphically is ok, but there wasn't any sound for me, is that right?

The idea around the game is fun.

I think there's a solid core of game in here, but right now it's a bit frustrating to play. The goat moves slow and doesn't jump very high so it's difficult to move around. The collisons are a bit dodgy so it can be easy to get stuck on stuff. I also think having the eagles respawn is unnecessary - it's difficult enough dealing with them the first time around.

Like I said though, there are some good aspects. The super jump mechanic is pretty cool. It took me a while to get the hang of it (mainly because I didn't notice the goat has an animation for it) but once I got it down it was fun being able to launch myself into the sky. I also like the snowfalls that occur sometimes. The flashing red bars give you a good chance to dodge it, and it's always satisfying seeing those jerk eagles get knocked out of the sky.

Nice for first jam game :) I felt collisions being bit janky as Baku said. I think one reason for it, and here is how to avoid it. If you are using image_angle to rotate your character, then it rotates also collision mask, which then can overlap with ground time to time. Now you can avoid this by using own variable, like "img_angle" and draw character with "draw_sprite_ext(...)". Also you can use separate collision mask sprite, which is rectangle to avoid stucking in the walls.

Grats on your first gamejam game! :D

The controls and collisions were pretty janky, but I like the idea. It kinda turned into a sort of unintentional (unless intentional? 🤔) qwop/getting over it-type affair :D

Cute little platformer, with a decent amount of challenge.

Only managed to beat level 3, and there's a bug where when you press next level it brings you to a fuchsia void. My main feedback would be regarding the collisions, sticking to the wall and stopping clouds when standing on them was a bit strange.

Overall, I enjoyed it though. Well done! :)

EDIT - Just saw this was your first game jam ever. For a first entry, you should be proud :D Hope you keep participating.

I like the concept, but the controls are a bit difficult and my goat got stuck quite a bit so that it was hard to make progress. The 'goat art' is very cute though!

I like the concept, and the animation of the goat (I presume their name is Snowball?) is and cute. I do think it is pretty difficult to get a handle on the controls, maybe horizontal movement speed should be increased while in the air? I had been getting stuck on the area where the birds spawn as well, as once I get over to the platforms they spawn next to they can show up and kill me with almost no tell.

I'd also like to see a bar or other effect than just the little animation the goat does to show how much I've charged, I think it would help provide a grasp on how to use the charge jump effectively.

Anyway, its a good idea, congrats on submitting! :)

I like the idea of this cutesy platformer, the controls are little difficult to work with though - I would've liked to have seen charging and executing a jump done with the same button rather than two separate buttons, but there's potential here and I hope you carry on this project, good job! :)
