A small tycoon/sandbox game. Unfinished.

Z-Do things.
X-Cancel things.
Arrow keys-Buttons that cause the illusion of movement to appear on the monitor in front(?) of you.
Ä-this button doesn't do anything but go ahead!

Known issues:
-I forgot to fix the issue with elevators on the top row.
-Deleting a house at the right time has a small chance of crashing the game.
-Button icons don't disappear correctly.
-Did you know that seahorses have no stomach? They have to eat constantly to stay alive.

    Pretty cool game!

My main question is: Is there any way to get wood once you build an elevator? I had saved up resources to build an elevator and expand my town, expecting to be able to rebuild my wood generator in the new area. But... I then got stuck because I couldn't deconstruct the elevator or build another wood generator.

In general the game is pretty cool though. Loved the character customization, the art style and the creativity of the game's concept.

Overall pretty well done. Good job!

It was neat. But yeah, it was bit slow. I managed to built my sky-town in 3 levels, population of 21 and 2 thropies. I noticed there was graphical bugs when building platforms, for example when you built in U-shape and then connected them, it seemed in other screen it was not connected. ps. I draw a bloody murder-horror face for my character o_o

Neat game. I enjoy the amount of customisation you get in deciding how your town will be laid out. It's also neat being able to design your own character to use. I think there could have a been a bit more variety in the buildings, but in all in all I enjoyed it. I managed to build a trophy and figured that was the closest thing to victory. The graphics look really nice, but it's a shame there's no sound.

Ahha, another sort of sandboxy type game! I think you fell into a similar issue we did with things being a bit slow (specifically at the start). But still.. very good effort! I liked the wacky random relation between upgrade names and their effects, and I did not expect to see character creation in a jam game - kudos for that!

I love the character creation and how the villagers look unique. I like the wacky upgrades too (naming the beavers, sinks produce metal lol). But the game itself is a bit slow and the lack of music doesn't help.

Excellent game! I love the graphics. It's awesome being able to draw your own face. Played until I got two trophies :]

    Hooking

Game was hooking and I played it for a good time. I love this kind of "building" and able to explore what new the game might bring next.

It was very good idea to add the character editor at the start, I spent way too many minutes already there :D

    Good one!

    But does seahorses have hooves?

I had a great time with this! I wish I had more time to really see it through to crazy resource-acquiring-rates. The pixel editor for the player character's face is an extremely unique idea and I would love to see it implemented in more games!

The artstyle works really well! But I'm very sad there's absolutely no sounds, even small things could have helped make the game more alive :(

I did leave the game in the background while playing other games, and by the end I think the trophy took the whole screen, everything was yellow :D

I agree that everything is a little too slow at the start, especially since you don't really know how each building / upgrade will improve your production.

Oh and even if the pixels weren't really on the top of the mouse, I really liked the fact that I could create my own character, and the different faces for NPC's were pretty fun.

I actually love the aesthetic of this. It's definitely a tad too slow going, but I had a good time building up to eventually get the trophy, and it was a worthy reward. Obviously you said its unfinished, but just adding some simple activities to help the buildings generate resources would elevate it as it is quite a bit. Nice job, if you're planning on continuing development I'm definitely interested in seeing how it turns out in the future!
