Okay, I didn't expect this one to be a tactics game. It worked pretty well, and the attack animation were really cool, but like Tower, you can feel how a few more hours would have helped a lot.
Like, you can't see what towers will do, so you kinda have to guess who they'll attack first. You can send the tank in from of the archer, but then there's a two other dudes and if you put them near a tower so that they can attack, there's a high chance they'll be the one to get hit. In the end the tank was only useful against the castle, after it killed both of my DPS, so that he could protect the archer for the last 2 or 3 attacks. The movement felt a little restricting too, I'd say two third of what it should be. It could be interesting in limiting your approach of the towers, but since we don't know what their range is, towers often get a free hit in. There's also never a point when you need to change your strategy since it's always one tower at a time. Having more units and splitting them in different paths would have been interesting for example (even though with all that clicking it would have taken ages).
Anyways, that a lot of focus on balance on the two games, because that their biggest issue. Of course I'm thinking this is because of the double game thing, but balance is always hard in jams. Now for the two game concept, I really feel like it hurts the game more than anything. Of course because of the two different gameplay, you spend more time on each. But there's also the way it's presented on the website. You don't really know where to start, or even how to rate. All this while having both game modes in the same game would have been completely okay.
Even having two .exe in the same project would have helped on rating. Here it's two game, so I'll rate them both as if they were stand alone. Even for art and sound, which are really good, it feels like there should have been more. I mean, I get the art being the same, but the music? We're playing two different sides! Why is it the same?! It feels unfair to ask that much, but it also feels unfair to rate a game based on another game..

Thanks for leaving so much feedback ahaha. I find it a bit interesting that you said the tank was only useful for the last castle, because other feedback complained about the tanks being OP against everything. About the two games thing, I knew that it wasn't a smart idea for doing well in the jam but the theme was perfect for it so I wanted to give it a try anyway. Having both games combined into a single game would have been way better, but I thought it would be funnier to make two separate games :) For the music, Meseta was working on multiple teams so he didn't have enough time to make two themes.

Very nice presentation and polished feel to the game. Taking the idea and making 2 games (with 2 different genres) from different perspectives was brilliant, you nailed the theme. I preferred Blade to Tower as I felt Tower's gameplay was a bit slow for my liking, great job all round.

Dude, those cutscenes look stunning! Both the ones in the beginning and end, and the ones that appear when you strike a foe. The controls are also good, and the sound too. Everything feels very polished.
Although, as many people has said, the gameplay is a little bit bland and unoriginal. I don't see anything that makes it stand out from all the other turned based strategy games, and I didn't feel like there were that many strategies to choose from. Maybe you could've spent a little longer brainstorming in the beginning for ideas. Maybe all towers could be like the Lich king castle. I think that fight was the highlight of the game, since you can approach it in a lot of different ways. You could also bunch together all the towers into one clash of clans-like base, eliminating all the safe-zones. I don't know, I'm just throwing ideas at you.
Still a great entry with a mind blowing amount of polish.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I would make a little longer description if I were you. Why not add some screenshots and a little longer summary.

Thanks for playing the game! I agree that the gameplay isn't very unique. We came up with the ideas after the theme was revealed so we didn't have a lot of time to brainstorm. I wanted to avoid making ideas ahead of time and then having to modify them to fit the theme, but we probably should have planned at least a little ahaha 😅

I played Tower first, and I'v gotta say, I enjoyed this quite a bit more. This felt much more challenging, and the small team made each action matter. It's very impressive that you've not only made two games for the jam, but that they both have their own unique gameplay mechanics and style.

Aesthetics are gorgeous. Art is really nice and the music fits well. The gameplay felt really flat, I never had to think about what to do. Having the tank guard while the archer shot from behind seemed to break everything. Despite this I still found myself very engrossed in the experience. Great job.
