Description

I did not complete a "game" for the jam, but i did have fun making this ragdoll playground

you can click and drag on the ragdoll to move him around. he will always attempt to stand back up, or place his feet on the ground.

While i dont feel this was a very good fit for the Jam, i did enjoy working on it and it has led to another project. so i felt it was worth posting.

From here, i plan to attach the ragdoll to a neural network, and train it to walk, jump, run, etc.

Well it was fun for the couple of minutes, but there wasn't much to play otherwise. I am interested how did you do the ragdoll physics? I have experimented with neural network, it is interesting subject.

edit. can you have multiple ragdolls as the banner shows?

That's it, one room? :( could have sworn there was more when you showed screenshots in the discord.

Oh well, the description warned us, but at least it's pretty fun to play with!

This is really fun to just mess around with, even though it isn't an actual game. Genius.

Wow, this was really cool. Maybe for the future make a couple of tutorials on how to do this?

And about the neural network, with what are you planning on training the model to accomplish the animations?

IT CAN STAND! I always love a good ragdoll, but this one had very nice and smooth mechanics to it. I love how the little guy balances himself~ Plus the color changes where neat (I imagine it's to display when the parts are in tension compared to a standing?) Can't wait to see what else you make out of this c; It obviously wasn't a full game so to say, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a total blast to wing the guy around for a while ^.^

Very fun physics playground :) I wish there were more things to do in it though.

There doesn't seem to be anything here.
