Your job is to fight a series of progressively more difficult bosses, armed (initially) with only a rock.
The flip of a coin determines whether you go to a fight or a shop to buy weapons and items at. The shopkeepers can teach you 3 different schools of magic:
- Nature (healing)
- Earth (resistance)
- Fire (attacking)
Various weapons, items and magics will assist you on your way to defeating the final boss- the arena's keeper, a red egg named Don.

The whole game can be played using only a mouse.
The art is fantastic. I think this one had a lot of potential but seemed slightly incomplete. I would have liked to have seen descriptions on the different items in the shop and I was uncertain if the items at the top did anything. I was able to progress far enough that I was one-shotting every enemy. I enjoyed the coin flip element of going to the shop or another battle.
Loove the art. Being immediately thrown into the game without much explanation made for a confusing experience which can be best described as brick-wall-esque. But eventually you get the hang of it.
The difficulty curve is completely out of whack. It really is opposite of how it should be. In the beginning you're largely at the mercy of RNG, if you get bad coin flips or items in the shop you're just dead, nothing much you can do. But if you get lucky and survive through first Don fight, you can become literally invincible.
Best strat seems to be grabbing Nature magic and buying the strongest weapon as possible, then in fights heal to max -> attack -> heal to max -> attack etc. Slightly risky against first Don fight cause his attack range is stupid (sometimes dealing nothing at all, something almost 1-shotting you, so healing isn't even safe)Submitted
Really love the art. I think the game has a lot of potential. I found myself quite invested in it. I love the art. It gives a lot of character to the game. It gives me some slay the spire vibes. I do think the flip of the coin was pretty fun. That being said, I think having the UI get reworked a little would help the game out as it was pretty confusing. Also adding some item descriptions would help. I think I selected some items like health potions but they didn't end up having an effect. Maybe some balance issues are that when I got the fire whip, I ended up breezing through a lot of the enemies. This game would be really nice with some sound and juicing up too. Interesting concept. Maybe might have been more engaging for more playthroughs if previous playthroughs affected the current one a little. And a way to keep track how you've been doing.
I really love the art. Unfortunately, the game really doesn't play very well. I could not tell what was going on most of the time. Elements seemed to be mis-aligned or drawn over important elements. Sound would have also helped a lot.
I think the biggest issue is just making it clear what is happening, how combat is resolving, and providing feedback when the player takes an action.Submitted
I think this game is interesting, and it has some great art. The main problem with it, I feel, is that there are no descriptions on items. That can be an interesting mechanic, but not in a pseudo-roguelike like this is. I feel like I should know what my stuff does in battle, and know what the items in the shop I'm buying do, or I'll save up for something and be disappointed.Submitted
Neat Game. The combat feels a little unbalanced. Most of the time there seems to a very obvious best move. You also really quickly reach a point where you can just one-shot everything, which is kind of boring. The art is really cute though. especially the shop-keepers, their design was really great.
