Shoot the leaves into piles whilst fighting gravity . If 10 touch the ground its game over, however get 10 into a pile and get an extra chance.

Typhoons spawn randomly and disappear just as randomly. The typhoons when shot get faster and faster. When touched you are teleported. They also knock around the leaves.

The leaves spawn faster and faster and at different descending speeds. After a while the spawn rate slow down, only to build up again.

Control with a gamepad or the wasd keys or the good old arrow keys.

Falling leaves is a pretty creative use of the theme. It can take a bit to get used to how game the works, but it's fine once you do. I would like some way to control how far the leaves are pushed though, as it's easy to make them overshoot their target.

The graphics are decent (though the menu is a bit busy) and the sounds are nice. I like the menu music but I wish there was some in the actual game.

Hey mate, saw the video you posted on youtube about your jam submission and had a minor freak-out when I realized you're an Aussie like myself haha. Never thought I'd see another Aussie participating in this gamejam so I gotta rate your game and give ya some feedback.

Your game is great. The gameplay is pretty unique for what it is and the art is really well drawn. I did have a bit of a hard time getting used to the controls but handled it pretty well once I got used to it.

All in all, awesome job! I hope you keep on participating in this gamejam and improving your game making skills, I really want to see what you come up with next time.

    Cheers, take it easy :)

A neat idea. Most of the game is learning how far your main shot goes and realizing that you can stay in the middle and take advantage of the fact that screen wrap makes the two side piles line up to make a larger goal. If the leaves aren't falling directly into the center pile it is best not to try t use it. Perhaps your range being based on how long you charge up your gust could add something.
While the displays of the main menu were not kind on the eyes, the music was okay. Sadly the main game didn't have any.

Also I would suggest not having the controller completely override the keyboard controls. For a while I couldn't figure out why I couldn't navigate the menu or start the game. Then I realized my controller was plugged in off to the side of my desk and I had to use that. Having both available to use at once is almost always best.

Thanks, The charge idea is brilliant and I definitely will take on board the negatives and hopefully as I improve my understanding of GM these things will iron out. The menus to be honest do suck! in my defence I think I was too used to them I didn't notice. Thanks for the great input :)

    "An OCD cloud" haha :D

I love the idea, but the gameplay was kinda confusing. Lost a lot of lives at first because of the way you shoot. After a while it gets easier though, and I learned to get some distance between the cloud and the leaves. There are some nice effects in there too !

The menu is pretty bad, I couldn't really understand what you were trying to say in the "how to" page, not that it matters, since the gameplay is pretty intuitive anyway.

The controls were really frustrating at first, but once you get used to them it's not too bad.

The gameplay gets really repetitive really quickly, and the way you move leaves by shooting them is really frustrating.

The game isn't too bad though, It was fun to play, you just have to get used to it.
