Summary

Element Gun is a small game with a solid foundation but limited content and polish due to time constraints. Players found the gameplay somewhat unexciting and slow, particularly criticizing the movement speed and the method of switching elements. The game lacks sound and has minimal art and levels, which impacts the overall experience. Some suggestions include improving element switching mechanics and pacing progression to enhance engagement. Despite these issues, the game was well made and appreciated enough to be featured in a compilation video.

Well made little game! I included it in my GM48: One Tool, Many Uses compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/xLRwFoQlSuM

I agree with Joseph feedback; it felt a bit tedious to move, mostly because the player moves rather slowly

The gameplay is not very exciting and it seems like you may have run out of time while making it, as there's no sound, little art, and only a few levels.

The main problem with the game though is that it ends before it really does anything very interesting with the elements. I also had a hard time remembering which color canceled out which color.

It would remove a lot of the puzzle in its current state, but I think it would have been more fun if you had designed the game with the ability to toggle between elements with a button(s) instead of the slow-pace of walking to the element pads repeatedly. And maybe only start with one element, and unlock more as you progress, so you have time to remember which color goes against which other color.
