Alright, I’m going to keep this one short, since I know I really don’t enjoy reading long, sappy, drawn-out postmortems.

Needless to say, the 27th GM48 chewed me up and spit me out.

I’m sure this was the case for many of my fellow competitors, but for myself in particular, the last 2 hours were absolute panic for me; after all, I hadn’t even created a .gmx before day 1 ended (jam started at 8PM in my timezone). I had been juggling with ideas for quite some time, and I didn’t even have a playable product until 12PM the next day.

This is why you're probably going to find a considerable number of bugs in Armageddon.

Do I love this game? Not really. Do I expect to win? Absolutely not. This is my first 48 hour jam, so I had relatively low expectations going into this.

I've done one other game jam before, the 40th Ludum Dare, and I walked away after the submission period feeling really good. This one left me feeling a little sour in my stomach. Maybe it's just the 48 hour nature of it? Anyway, I just wasn't really happy with what I produced.

So, in the end, despite it all, I hope something in this game makes you smile or laugh. Whether it’s the massive muscular pink bunnies, the fire-ball shooting sunflowers, or that obscure bug I didn’t know about (definitely a feature), I hope you at least have a little fun.

Tl;dr - My game is unsatisfactory, I hope you have a little fun with it even if for only like a minute
