Support the GameMaker community through opportunity to learn
With 2297 participants to date, the gm(48) game jam has for over 8 years been instrumental in enabling developers to become better at game design, game development and GameMaker Studio 2.

5I'm sweating. I learned a lot in such a short amount of time (especially about time management). The 29th GM48 was my first jam and I'm happy with what I produced.
We all start somewhere and I'm so grateful for this opportunity.

5I had a great time participating in gm(48) number 30. I was lucky and everything just seemed to gel. This is my first successful game jam with Game Maker so I was happy it went well!

5It's the only GameMaker game jam that's worth participating in.
It's well-supported and every time I'm shocked at how good the game entries are!
It pushes me to be a faster, better developer.

5GM48 is an inspiring and inclusive event fit for beginners and veterans alike. There's no better place for GameMaker devs to really come together as a community and show off what they've got.

5GM48 rocks! I have learned so much during the 3 times my team has participated. The themes put us out of our comfort zone, and we learned so much in such a short time. Can't wait to go again!

5No other game jam offers an opportunity to test your skills and learn with a variety of unique themes as much as the GM(48) does. I'd highly recommend it to everyone, from beginners to professionals.

5First game jam competition that can compete with the ludum dare, if you ask me. Had much fun particapating and looking forward to do it again.

5Some of the most fun and engaging game developing experiences I've ever had have been during my participation in GM(48).
I encourage all GameMaker enthusiasts to give it a go.

5I usually join Ludum Dare and other local jams, but I believe that GM48 are the ones I enjoy most.
It's a way to see what someone can do in just 48 hours with Game Maker, and the source code is usually available to mess with and to learn about.

5The GM48 is the perfect way for me to rekindle my love for game making. Every time I participate I can see a gradual improvement in my abilities and quality of my games.

5So many cool people. So many cool games. It's seriously, the coolest time ever!

5It's a great way to lift up your 'gamemakering' career with the support of other friendly 'gamemakerers'

Look, if you had one shot or one opportunity to fuss everything you ever wanted in one moment would you capture it or just let it slip?

LINNA - Devotion to Locomotion
Take control of Linna the walking fort. Build defensive walls and turrets as enemies come and try to destroy it.

Ruthless Ruth
I remember when this city was just all fields. I'm going to take it back to that day! I'll build a world without buildings!

Boozy Blundering
You've only got one shot of alcohol in your system - will this be enough to convince four bar patrons that you're off your rockers, or will they see through your lack of intake and oust you?
