Collect resources and build structures to survive the apocalypse.

Unfortunately, I didnt have time to implement a tutorial, but here is a rundown of the buildings if it helps you.

  • Barracks: gives you more workers
  • Silo: holds gathered material
  • Bore: produces materials faster than diggers
  • Refinery: converts material into energy
  • Battery: stores energy
  • Turret: attack nearby bugs(costs energy to use)
  • EMP: destroys all bugs in range(costs energy to use)

If you're confused just click around and experiment.

The downloadable version is the best version because of the awesome song written by my brother!

I hope you have fun!

I loved this game but I was really confused about some of the buildings until i read that there was suppose to be enemies. I would love to play a version of this with enemies. Great art. Needs more sounds. Good game.

Thanks for checking it out! Yeah, the jam version has a couple of small but unfortunate bugs! Sounds went in like an hour before the deadline, but I wish I had had saved a little more time for them. Thanks for playing!

I really enjoyed this! I didn't encounter any enemies but by the sound of some of the coments it wasn't in this version. Regardless its super fun and feels good. I was always out of room when it comes to energy. But it was really fun, great job!

Thanks for playing! It turned out to be a single overlooked variable in the enemy spawner haha, but I guess that's the nature of a jam game. Glad you enjoyed it despite the quirks :)

I really like the vibe of this one, great use of colour and design to make a dystopia-vibe - I certainly would've liked more room to build around in and it was a bit of a slow burner to begin with, but the resource management side of it is a lot of fun, I don't think I got to the fighting portion of it though, I think the pace needs a little bit of increasing to really give everyone the full experience of this as there is certaintly a lot of content and a lot to discover - great entry, very involved, I'll have to revisit as I imagine there's a lot more to see from this yet

Thanks for playing! The system responsible for spawning enemies is unfortunately broken in the jam version so the fighting never really happens. I would have really liked to fix that and the pacing, but the deadline got the best of me haha. I'll be posting an updated version once the jam is over, so if you want to revisit the game that would be the best time :)

I played you Game on stream, you can watch the vod here https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1803296797?t=00h29m36s

I do like the game, its really slow to start and suffers from not having enough UI elements, and lacking explanations on what is there. but that game has some charm. good job!

Wow awesome, I can't wait to check it out! I'm definitely aware of some of the game's shortcomings and would love to address them in a post jam version, so watching someone play it will be great! Thanks for playing :)

The pixel art is really good and there are a ton of content for a jam game. Great concept and mechanics

Beautiful style and surprisingly deep 😄 It's a shame you didn't have a lil extra time to add a tutorial or something, as it took a while to get into it, but this is a really pleasant experience and it'd be cool to see this added to down the line.

Thank you very much! Yeah there's a couple things I wish I had a little more time to do haha. I'm most likely going to release a post jam version that's cleaned up a bit.

The pixel aesthetic is really strong! Not much I can say about the bugs and missing features people already have mentioned, but I willreaffirm that starting the player off with some more base resources, maybe with the starting buildings filled, would help with the slow start!

Thanks for playing! I definitely think some of the values could stand to be tweaked, I wanted the human diggers to be slower than the machine, but I think I overdid it a little. I think your right about some starting resources though, it could definitely help!

Really clean presentation, looks nice, great atmosphere and the music fits really well! Also an impressive accomplishment in such a short time. However, there were some bugs: first, there apparently are supposed to be enemies of some sort but for whatever reason they never showed up. Second, the upgrades on the energy storage buildings weren't working as intended. Some manner of clicking elsewhere and then on the building after the upgrade button was no longer showing was required to get it to upgrade.

This game is really good, and a bit addictive to play. I love the whole colony-builder style of it as well as the colours, they really help to convey the dystopian feel to it. It incorperates the theme very well. However I've found that the battery is unable to upgraded and same with the barracks and silo once they reach a certain point, even though the option to upgrade them comes up. And it would be good if there was a way to change the volume, the music is great and fits the dystopian vibe, but the bore especially can become a bit annoying to listen to. Aside from that, the game was great and very fun to play, good job

Thanks for checking it out! The sound was a last moment addition, so unfortunately it's not as balanced as I would like. As for the upgrades, just a bit of game jam tank I never got around to fixing. I'm happy you enjoyed it :)

There's a very solid foundation - the mechanics are intuitive, the art and music is pretty good, the only real complain I have is the pacing. A very long stretch was just getting the initial resources, which goes at a crawl... perhaps start the player off with each resource producing building so that way they have a basis to build around, or start them off with a few basic resources? Naming the buildings would also help, perhaps a hover-over popup.

Thanks for playing! I definitely agree I missed the pacing balance a bit. I also wanted to include building names and descriptions, but I didn't have time. thanks for your feedback!

Love the art and music! I played until I filled up my space but never saw any bugs
