in this game you have to change what color you are so you can pass through certain block and stuff,I'm pretty sure a game with this mechanic already exists so that sucks.

CONTROLS arrow keys to move up to jump Z to swap what color you are X to do a nice little dash

Thing I used Game Maker www.bfxr.net

Note; there are bug but nothing too crazy.i the last level there is a place where you can skip quite a lot of it but I didn't know about it til it was too late

This has got to be one of my favorites! The level design was superb and graphics are phenomenal (I love the low bit style) they really help you focus on gameplay and feel. As others have mentioned the diagonal color choosing was finicky and that added to the difficulty. I did find a way to jump and dash over most of the last level. (if you're continuing it it'd be great to have a level select, time trials, and maybe even a level editor). Another thing you could add is maybe some characters scattered about with dialogue to give more reward to the player (though your already implemented text is exquisite). This one's a keeper and I'll be sure to keep a look out for more from you (throw some info on your profile and link a twitter or something)! ;D Great job!

I think it needs a bit more coyote time to make the jumping feel better, the scrolling the 'thing' to the diagonal positions on keyboard proved to be a bit tedious at times. Some of the pigments were a bit too close in shade to eachother which caused some screw ups. Otherwise, a really nice platformer with cool time-stop mechanics and puzzles to solve. Really enjoyed this one!

most of the bad stuff like the touchy controls i made them better and ill try to fix the horribleness of choosing diagonal colors and all that but thanks for the feed back, I appreciate it

I liked this minimalist platformer a lot - it kind of reminded me of old 80s PC games. Not just the aesthetic, but the difficulty too! It was challenging but mostly felt fair - when I died, I knew why and it was always my fault. Was it intentional to allow the player to boost while floating mid-air using the color changing wheel? That was the only way I made progress in the first difficult level! Handling both buttons for color change and boost was hard to get used to - I'd often find myself boosting straight into spikes when I meant to change colors. I'm not sure if there's an elegant way around that, or if the concept simply depends on players practicing. Either way, good work!

It's little hard to control things, and generally the wheel of colors is as well.

    Great concept though
