Neat game! I included it in my GM48: Colors are Important compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/VmlMQ0caULs

This looked really nice. I enjoyed the grid system, pacing, and how the UI worked. This could turn into an interesting multiplayer game with some deeper strategies and mechanics. It feels nicely responsive and the audio doesn't get at all intrusive. You managed to provide multiple game modes, and it's quite easy to pick up the controls. I do wish it gave me a better idea how of to use the various spawnables and how they affected the game flow. I'd like to see more counters and back and forth in the combat, to get the feeling that you're fighting for space. I really liked the concept here, this was a great submission!

Thanks for the feedback. It's always a struggle to get strategy games finished in a weekend, so I didn't have much time to playtest or work on it being more readable to the player. I'm glad you had fun, though!

This was fun little game, graphics weren't half bad, and I liked the game mechanic as you have tried something different. Also your take on theme was also different than most of us, which is good. Music just started to repeat itself ^^" I managed to score 39 points, I am not sure is it good, but Trolog got better.

I think the presentation of this game is quite fantastic! But a big problem for me was that I didnt't really know how to play it. I didn't know what was going on, so I would recommend that you add a little manual on your description page that tells player how the game is played exactly.

I will leave this installed, because I really want to figure it out, because I think there lies a gem in this game I just can't "get" right now!

Thanks for the feedback. I always struggle with how much a player will be able to figure out for themself, and I think I might have explained too little in this one...

Wow, this game is actually quite fantastic! It's a got real hidden depth, was this on purpose? Had you been brewing this idea before? Either way it's really fun, and I'll come back to it and try beat my score of 42.. What was your best score for reference?

I'm quite big on Puzzle games, specially ones that make you think in advance and leave you with a high score to aim to beat, and this game ticks those boxes!

This biggest thing that lets this game down is the fact you have little description and no screenshots/gif, I think if people understood how much depth this game has they'd be a lot more reviewers!

The art is consistent and has a nice retro look to it, the looping song matched the art as well as the retro style.

I think the biggest thing I can take away from this game is that I want to play it more, normally with jams I'd pick a game up judge it and move on, but this one the more I play the more it uncovers it's depth.

    I'm really impressed by this!

IF YOU CAN: try add some screenshots and description, I feel this game should get more eyes on it, also a tutorial is greatly needed, I really had to go through 5 runs to understand what's going on but felt lost even on the very last run hehe. Like how do the guys move? Rnd? Or to certain things etc.

Thank you very much for giving me such detailed feedback! I'm glad that you liked the game :)

I didn't get too much time to playtest this before the deadline, so the depth, while intentional, hasn't been tweaked very much (I expect there is a fairly big exploit, but I don't know for sure). I think that I've only ever gotten to the 30s before, but I will have to come back to it if I end up doing a post-jam build.

As for improving the game page, your advice is very much taken on board. The struggle is finding the time during the week to go back and work on it :) I won't do too much to the description, as I really like games where you try to work out the mechanics and I wouldn't want to ruin that experience for others (even if it is a niche interest!)
