Challenging game! I included it in my GM48: Colors are Important compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/km3gD5GdGBA

Good Game, you can do better works in other Jam, so, keep it on!

This has a decent atmosphere, nice writing. I just found that the audio would loop over itself when I was running through areas which can break the immersion a little. It would be better if any previously playing voiceover was stopped when a new one starts. I understand it's important to have the clues for the player in there though, so cutting the end off causes a problem. Otherwise, the pacing was good, cool platforming, interesting hue gun mechanic. A really nice puzzle platformer through and through. Great work on this!

Really good job. This game is actually fun! The concept fits well with the theme and is easy to understand. I also enjoyed the humor.

I haven't been watching through your window but it seems like you've prioritized your time very efficiently. I like every aspect of this game is equally much. Nothing is outstanding but the art, sound, physics, and level design are all cooperating to create a solid entry.

This game takes the tried and true formula of Portal-esque puzzles and places a twist on it in its own environment of a 2D platform puzzle game with level design well aware of its status. Except instead of a Portal gun to transport from place to place and move boxes on buttons, you instead have a color gun that changes the color of boxes and gives it different properties. Certain colors like yellow can make the box movable, where as colors like blue can allow you to jump on boxes, but remove the movability, for example. The game clues you in on what to do from the test holder above you in this experimental prison you are encapsulated in, later on teaching you that combining these colors gives the box both properties of mobility and upward gravity to float. The enemies add a nice challenge to your puzzle, such as the red guys who cannot be color gunned to change properties but cannot touch certain colors. After teaching you this, it introduces the speed boost allowing you to gain speed and jump really far, teaching you this by having you grab it and jump over a pit of enemies, which was a good teaching point to the player. Finally, the test holder says he is no longer in need of you and that you would be killed. So to escape, it takes all of what you learned before and places it into a big puzzle to escape from snipers ready to shoot you down from your escapade. I did find two flaws with it. I thought that if you were to drop a box onto yourself, it would just kill you outright. Instead, it just makes the bounce sound over and over again and it is really loud and almost blew out my speakers. Next, if you were to die and the test taker was talking, the audio would just play over itself while the other was still playing, and, if playing it enough times, would come out as a garbled mess. Since this was made in 48 hours, I won't give it too much flack. Audio is eerie to fit the scene, pixel art is a great art style, it's a neat concept that I'd love to see expanded on and highly recommend to anyone in for a challenge!
