My time was 10:03! I enjoyed this take on the theme, very unique and I liked the style of it, I think the only thing that confused me a bit was that the AI had a little difficulty moving to where I'd asked it to, some of them were very keen to try and take a long way around or a route that didn't exist - I would've also liked to have seen a marker where I'd pressed to show me where I'd sent my people - but that aside, this was a solid entry given the time-frame and a fun little game, good job! :)

Thank you for playing! I appreciate all the feed back, I was really crunched for time but I'm glad a lot of people have taken a shine to it :) Thanks again!

Always look forward to some RTS! Thought the interpretation of the theme was interesting. We are growing an army. I enjoyed the little bits of dialogue the villagers had too. Reminded me of some of the blooper lines you get from playing starcraft. Enjoyed taking a look at their names too. I've been playing valorant so poor sova when he got incinerated!

My main criticism: I think the low point of the game for me was how difficult it was to get my bearings. The map is very big and the assets are all pretty similar so its hard to control your units and look around the map to find more and then jump back to where you were. I think a mini map would have gone a long way. Maybe having the mouse cursor on the edge of the screen also move the camera rather than just wasd. I also had some issues with pathfinding where the villagers would keep walking into the water instead of come to where I was. I think the loop of exploring to find more recruits isn't bad but the map layout made it a little hard. Some variance in the map would have been good to give some mental landmarks. Had some issues with splitting my units as it felt like I couldn't control them as soon as they started attacking. I think with how many villagers you can get, more freedom of movement would have made combat feel more dynamic rather than "A moving" .

Overall it was a calm chill game. Collecting villagers for them to face their doom! Loved the dialogue and their names. The flavour you had in the game really went a long way. I felt sad when I got attached to a villager that was levelled up only to see them incinerated. It was rewarding to see a huge angry mob I was building up. Nice work!

Thank you so much for the thorough review! The map was a bit everywhere. A minimap would have been great! The camera was a bit cumbersome - would have liked to add a click to drag the map too but it just never made it in :( Pathfinding was so primitive - I used mp_potential_step because of the simplicity. Because of that though they would bump into eachother and just walk a huge distance to try to get around an object. The units were very simple, that's why after they started a fight you couldn't control them lol In a perfect world I would have put a bit more into them so they weren't so simple minded haha

Thank you so much for playing :)

So epic, loved it. I only had 5 survivors, one of them was Grab which made me happy.

I played your game, it has a good mood and calm impression. Game handling and mechanic is great. Congrats! I think I gatheret all the people who I found but finally the dragon won... Anyway, I like it, will try it again later. :)

Thank you for the feedback! I attribute the mood to my sick guitar skills (just kidding) - but it was the first time I ever transferred music in that wasn't digital 😅
