A pawsome side-scrolling adventure where you collect treats and avoid cat-astrophy at every mewment!
Disclaimer: No kitties were harmed in the making of this game. Audio effects were voiced by a weird cat.

Cute little game. I included it in my GM48: Collect! compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/yIsOdyc3NkA

A cute game, maybe a bit short but for the time frame that's understandable.
A suggestion for the future, the hitboxes of the fishies felt a bit strange. From what i've learnt about good game design, usually you want your enemy hitboxes small and your friendly (e.g. powerup) hitboxes large.
The art and music were very reminiscent of old PC games which is nice.
Overall, well done :)

Neat art, well put together game. The pirate ghost boss fight at the end was radical.
The collecting theme felt like a bit of an afterthought, though. Collecting the treats didn't seem to do much besides make a counter go up.

On the one hand, the art and level design seems a bit childish and unsophisticated, but on the other hand, I don't think I'd want it any other way in this case. The boss fight was also koala-tea and the ending was great.

I hecking LOVE this game. The art is better than amazing. If I said it was great, it would be like saying the Titanic took on a little bit of water. There's a lot of variety in the hazards, which I like. My favorite is the stalactites - the smashing animation is super impressive and satisfying. The very concept is cool - cat roams an island in a side scrolling adventure and fights a pirate-ghost. Speaking of the pirate ghost, this game has an amazing boss fight! It feels super fun and like the enemies, the fight has a lot of variety, here in how the pirate attacks. If I were to make a suggestion - have a tracker for the treats collected and how many exist while you're playing. It would add a feeling of progress. Also, while the sound design is real good, the music is very quiet. Anyway, you are truly a person of quality, as you must have been owned by a cat to make this game. The ending is catlike and hilarious, and I like the subtle joke with the life counter. Amazing game. As a plus, it's got a cool custom icon. Good work, and a good sleep, (because I'm sure you got none this weekend), kylekubik!

My favorite game so far. Pirate Kitty is awesome. Really cool boss and the game was fun to play and finish. Artwork was really good too, especially in the cave.
