Released, yet unfinished, as is with most of my solo jam projects. Lacking in music and sound (read: none), with a whopping minute or three worth of gameplay!
The gamepad code is a little sketchy so if you have multiple gamepads connected one of them should work (iterates through slots 0-15 and picks the first connected device).

Lovely animations! I included it in my GM48: Collect! compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/bAl5VC2b78w

Cool character art! Unfortunately, it Looks like most of your time was spent on that aspect of the game and there wasn't much else. I did manage to collect all 25 orbs and reach the "boss room". Hope you learned a lesson in time management, would like to see more entries with this sort of art!

Putting one of the shooty ghosts in a barrel was so rude. I died to it the first time I played xD "Finished" the game the second time around, aka I got to the boss room and read the message. :^)
It's a shame this is so early-stages because it shows a ton of promise. I'd love to see this one fleshed out!

Really good animations and visual communication. Everything looks consistently good. The game also plays really well. The combat isn't the most original, but teleporting and swinging a scythe around is always fun!
The only thing that's missing is some music and/or sound effects. Sorry, but the absense of sound can really hurt your rating :/

Nice game! The art is very good, and I like how the enemies sometimes hide in the barrels. Would have been cool if it had more content, but it was fun to play!
