In Chroma Slash, you play as a ninja who has a duel with a knight boss. The boss uses all sorts of colors to attack and is immune to all colored defenses except for the corresponding color. The boss also defends with many colors, but if you are quick enough to match his color stance, his eventual defeat will come!

This was fun! I fully appreciate what you're doing here with the color switching. Funny enough, I did the same control scheme for colors in my game!
Something I found helps with the difficulty curve of this schema is how it's taught to the player. The order matters! Starting with Q and W makes me put my fingers on those two colors. Easy. Then adding A and S we already have a very unnatural position for our fingers. By then it's too late to figure out how to incorporate E and D. What if instead you started with W and S, added A and D (making a typical WASD formation), and THEN added Q and E. That's something players can adjust to because it's building on our pre-existing gamer knowledge.
I love the style and the simplicity though and I'm so glad you stuck to your guns on the one mechanic. Brilliant job!

This game gets difficult to keep up very quickly. I'm not sure how you can soften the curve. Maybe a more centered UI so its easier to keep track of which colour = which key whilst focusing on the enemy. Overall, it's a nice, timing based game that has good flow to it. The animations and art style are nice, and the sound effects are fitting. A nice entry with good potential!

For a second when green showed up, I thought I needed to somehow mix colors to make it and there was an instant of panic that I didn't have yellow before I noticed the UI change. This is really simple and tight and well done, and I could totally see this as the fight system in some sort of rpg adventure. Great job!

God this is tough. But honestly a really interesting take on difficulty curves and player learning. I'm not sure if its intentional but this the first game which gave a really tough challenge, only for me to instantly learn the challenge and mostly without problems, before facing me with an equally daunting challenge.
The timing you have to pull off also ensures that you HAVE to learn the colors based on learned reflex and instinct- you cant think, you have to do.
Sorry if this is turning rambly but this game has by far the most interesting take on core game play concepts this jam whether intentional or not.

It was hard enough before you added 2 more colors XD also QWER would feel more natural in my opinion.
