Very interesting graphics! I included it in my GM48: Colors are Important compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/vn9B8Izpgw4

The idea was kind of original; "Game is intentionally hard/confusing" >> Okay for it being hard, but inverting the expected way to make it "confusing" on purpose doesn't seem to be a good idea to me. Make it hard by what happens; struggling with the controls is rarely a good thing.
Though I got used to it, even if it felt strange. I felt wrong while I was doing right, and it made me feel a bit uneasy.
My issue was mostly the shift of color though. Everytime you change color, every single thing from the screen changes as well, which is a bit too confusing and distracting to keep focus. So it didn't quite make the game harder, it mostly made it feel less comfortable.
That said, not a bad idea!

If we had more time we would have made it transition and actually move left and right instead of jumping left and right. This probably would have made it less confusing
Thank you so much for trying our game and leaving some detailed feedback!

Eerie music was good. Graphics weren't out of the world, but not bad either. Gameplay was sadly something you get bored of quickly, but it didn't have any bugs, so it was solid.

I... I can't. LMB shifts everything to the right, while RMB goes to the left??? It's a cool game, but it's reaaaaaally confusing

The shifting colours of the player character confused me a bit at first. I think it's just aesthetic? Took a few games to get my head around but quite addictive and nice audio.
EDIT: Understood! I guess I just thought the colour of the squid had a bigger impact on gameplay. Really cool game though

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback! We're glad that you liked it and found it addictive :D
And the player is kinda like an squid so it can camouflage itself into its environment. And it leaves an ink cloud in its previous location
