Summary

Push to Safety is praised for its fun, simple yet challenging gameplay, clever concept, and satisfying audio-visual design. Players appreciated the polish and the thematic connection between characters, though some noted the game felt short and level design became less puzzling over time. Minor frustrations arose from unclear mechanics and a loose interpretation of the theme, but overall the game was well received and considered a strong 48-hour jam entry.

Simple fun, great work for 48 hours. It had everything it needed. A little more polish and it could be a full release.

This is a very fun one!

    • It's clever the way you used the design and how everything feels.
    • It looks cute and sound cute!
    • The puzzles are interesting...
    • ..but also very frustrating the first time you discover a mechanic. The first time I met a cop, I thought I was supposed to find a way to go to the exit without touching him. It would have been nice to know you could kill him using the prisoner.

Everything about this game is top notch! My only complaint is that it took me a bit to figure out I could push my companion into the cops. But really, that's nothing. Nice job!

This game not only has a super cool concept that connects really well to the theme, but it is also executed really well, with a ton of polish on top.

Only downside is that it was a little short, and the level design felt lacking after the first couple of levels, but other than that this was a great game.

This is such a simple, yet clever and awesome game!!! It's a good idea executed to the limit. I loved the goofy sfx, graphics and music. I also really liked how the ninja and the prisoner need each other to survive and that one wouldn't exist without the other. My only concern is that the levels begin to get less puzzly (like "which police officer should I kill first") and more simply straightforward. But don't worry, I have the exact same problem. Magnificent work!

Very fun, simple yet challenging. The silly graphics work, smashing things is satisfying, and the music is nice. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The theme feels a little loose, your buddy feels more like a rock you push around than an actual companion. But overall very nice, I wish it was longer!
