It's a resource management game in which you must make a certain number of ants descend to complete each level. You deploy the ants at a cost of food. Featured ants are as follows:
Worker Ant: Forages food, adding 100 food when it collects.
Soldier Ant: Sturdy ant for defense.
Fire Ant: Very long range moderate damage.
Acid Ant: Shoots acid that turns into pools of acid.
Medic Ant: Can't attack, heals other ants.
Bomber Ant: Explodes across multiple lanes when it reaches it's target.
Electric Ant: Shoots a bolt of electricity that splits into more bolts of electricity.
16 different levels with wildly different levels of testing.

Nice tower defense game. I like the variety of different ant abilities. The generation rate of food seemed different at times.

Thanks for the feedback. You are correct, the food rate varies by level, some levels have a very slow food rate to emphasize the reliance on worker ants going for cherrys. Others have a very high food rate allowing you to spam ants.

Great content, cool concept, funny voices.
The fact that you can't cancel a ant is bad though (my PvZ reflexes went on and I tried right clicking :D).
I would have liked to know the victory conditions too. I didn't really know what to do on the level with 4 workers (getting x number of ants to the bottom, or at least one in each column ?)

Yeah unfortunately the Gui draw event stretches based on smaller screen resolutions, so the goal at the bottom of the screen probably got moved off of the view for you. Thanks for playing I'm happy you enjoyed the voices.

Great game! I'm surprised with how much content you put in, 16 levels and 7 ants is a lot for 48 hours, maybe some more enemy variety would've been good too, but there's already a ton of content so it's not a real problem.
Art was great and had a nice style, I really liked the voices and the music was alright.
Gameplay was really fun and the difficulty curve was great, the best tutorials are the not written ones. The ants werent all balanced though, I'm mostly talking about the fire and acid ants, that can take care of a whole lane by themselves, some tuning to their stats will probably make all the other ants more playable.
But it was a really nice experience, I played all the levels without getting bored even for a second, really fun and polished game, good job.

Thanks man, we appreciate the feedback! The sad part is the 3rd termites sprites are in the game but unused. I learned a bit about priorities this jam, hopefully we can do better next time!

Great game! Maybe the best entry I've played so far and I am almost 1/3 of the way through.
The ants are cute and the voices give them a lot of character. While the game may not have been balanced perfectly, you did well not making the levels get boring by limiting usable ant types and altering food income to encourage different strategies.
Two things I that the game needs is a pause screen and the ability to change what ant you are placing once you've already clicked one. If you miss click you are forced to place the ant.-

Excellent points, we really appreciate your feedback especially with how many games you have reviewed!

Really nice game! The graphics are good and the sound is great. I love the voices! The variety of different ants to use makes for an interesting game.
However, there was a significant issue I had. The ant descriptions go off the right side of the screen. I think there might some other information off the screen as well, because I couldn't see any resource indicator.

I noticed the same thing when showing it to family on their lower resolution monitor. Clearly I'm not understanding all of how Gui drawing works. Should be fine on a monitor running 1080p. And yes the food indicator as well as ants required go off screen with lower res

Great game! The theme is there, the graphics are nice and love the sound/music. Nice with many levels and it felt good completing them all.
The only thing I would add would be a bit more balancing, a menu/option/pause button while in a level. It’s small things and since we only had 48 hours I think you guys did a great job.

Yeah I wish I would have squeezed in another two hours to balance the levels. Unfortunately the Clock ran out on me and I had to push half of them out in with very little testing.
