CONTROLLER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! This game was designed with controllers in mind. KB/M controls are included, but they're not optimal.
The evil Power Corporation have gone too far. Whilst attempting to harvest the valuable POWER SOURCE (with an orbital laser, this is the future after all), they unwittingly trigger a natural disaster of unspeakable proportions. Clean up their mess. Control the legendary Fishbreaker to face the threat of the mighty Fishsplosion.
Controller: A Button - Charge Laser Chambers. Left Stick - Aim Left Gun (Assault Rifle). Right Stick - Aim Right Gun (Shotgun). L/R Trigger - Fire Corresponding Gun. L/R Bumpers or Dpad L/R - Move Left and Right. Press Start to switch to controller mode (from Keyboard mode).
Keyboard/Mouse: Enter Key - Charge Laser Chambers. Mouse Move - Aim Left Gun (Assault Rifle). Mouse Wheel or Q/E - Aim Right Gun (Shotgun). Left/Right Mouse Button - Fire Corresponding Gun. A/D or Left/Right Arrow - Move Left and Right. Press Left Mouse Button to switch to KB/M mode (from controller mode).

Due to work and time zones, this was more like GM19 for me. I really wanted to get more done like more weapons, more control options, better graphics, more fish types, a boss fish, sound/music and a more detailed score system. Obviously that is part of the point of a game jam, to get what you can done in the limited time frame. In that respect I am proud of what I made since it functions as a game :P
Hope you enjoy ^_^
Cool idea, the gameplay was actually really fun and balanced.
But everything else was either pretty bad (Art/Polish) or completely missing (Sound/Theme).
So I guess this is a really good game and a really bad game at the same time, not easy to achieve, but you did it!Submitted
It's a pretty interesting concept. I didn't actually notice there was controller support the first time I played until I came to the comments section, lol, which was going to be my comment. The controller definitely helps. Switching between the triggers and shoulder buttons for shoot/move seemed to kill my brain a little bit, maybe adding in face button for moving support might help? This seems like it would be a fun couch co-op game, with different people controlling different actions. Cool idea!Submitted
I love the concept and the story, I just wish it was more polished. As it is, it's still pretty sweet being able to shoot in two different directions at once. The introduction with the laser charging/firing is neat too. I'm not too sure how this fits the theme, though. I guess it's because the fish are "descending" upon you?Submitted
I killed fishes! Many of them, maybe I can open a sushi restaurant right now. Controls are a bit inintuitive, like moving the shotgun is too slow, what I did is I aimed it at one side, and spammed the fk out of those 12gauges. Sushi came grilled at this point, which is definitely a plus!Submitted
