Keep the blocks from falling off the screen for as long as you can.
Complete list of controls can be found in-game.

It's a neat and original idea, but it needs to be expanded on in all departments. It could really be something, like a real actual game, to be released.

Fun little game, the idea I must say is pretty good, and the whole descending gimmick is some great game design, even though I feel like you didn't design the rest of the game around it as much as you should've.
Graphics were nice considered how simple they were, and the sound was good enough to not become repetitive even after a lot of time spent playing.
The gameplay was really well done, and also pretty balanced, with some exceptions. I'd increase the shot speed to prevent situations with unavoidable damage, the descending thing does a pretty good job with it, but in some cases it's not enough.
The game also lacks feedback, except when you hit the squares (That effect is pretty cool.)
But all considered it's really fun and the execution of the idea was done fairly well.
Edit: Add a contact on your profile if you want more feedback, I'd be happy to talk about it with you but I don't have enough characters to talk here.

Neat game. The presentation is fairly simple but it works quite well. The gameplay can be pretty addictive too, though I'm pretty terrible at it. Once there's more than one block to juggle I just can't manage it.
By the way, what is "Haearobog"? Did you make it up or does it mean something?

Art/animation is by far my weakest skill so I like to stick to simple styles like this that can be nice in their own way rather than try for something more and end up making the players' eyes bleed.
"Haearobog" is just a name I came up with for the game.

You've got some of the most interesting music I've heard in this jam thus far.
I like where the game is going, but I've gotta say that everything just moves a little too slow to keep me interested. The bullets fire slow. The player moves slow.
With that said, the relative slowness added a little more fun to the speed and suddenness of the 'descend' button, which is maybe what you were going for.
Either way, you had me on the hook for five or six minutes with a very simple concept, so I'd consider it a success. VIVA HAEAROBOG
Good luck, I hope you had fun in the jam.

Oh I definitely had fun. The gm48 is always a blast.
I'm really glad you liked the game, even if the feeling was short-lived.
The idea around the movement was to make the player fight against the endless descent of the blocks and struggle to maintain their precious position in the middle/high ground. The descend button allows for them to make a desperate move to have another chance at a missed block at the sacrifice of the vertical progress they made.
I'm also happy to hear people liked the music! It was my first time making my own and I wasn't sure anyone was going to be able to stand it.
Thanks for the feedback!

The game is really fun and quite addicting. I just kinda wish there was more to the game play. Like a power up or extra game mode or something. otherwise it gets bland quickly.
