In STAIRSTRUCK you play a 'Slinky', a toy with no other purpose than falling down the stairs.
Play in different settings, like outside, under water, or in space !
Collect coins and powerups, avoid pesky enemies, and try to get as low as you can go!

Neat concept. I've always wanted to play as a slinky. Sometimes I couldn't tell if hitting the objects (such as the Twitter birds) was good or bad. I would have made the score based on how far you've made it down the stairs.

I really feel like you were thinking outside the box with this game. While the game play itself may not have panned out, you were creative and didn't stick to the norms of what a slinky is capable of. Good on ya.

This game is insanely polished in all the worst ways. I feel like you spent way too much time polishing and adding content and not nearly enough time testing things out to see if they broke the game.
Because everything looks and feels really awesome and I can see it's really polished, but it all comes crumbling down the stairs when you see how many bugs and glitches are in this game, I ended every single run either by falling out of bounds or getting stuck inside hitboxes.
A lot of stuff is also really counter-intuitive, like the fact that nothing shows the player how much health he has, or the movement itself, that feels really janky.
Again, there's a ton of content in this game, and it looks and feels really good, but you have to make sure the game is actually playable, having too big of a scope just doesn't do justice to all the cool stuff you added in.

Thanks! I was really excited to add stuff and play the game, and forgot things like stability and user-friendlyness.

Guiding a slinky down stairs seems like an interesting idea, but I feel the game kind of diluted that concept by adding in a bunch of random stuff like jetpacks. The menu is good and having different levels/slinkies to choose is a nice touch. The graphics are cool, but the black at the screen edges can make it hard to see and the slinky looks a bit dodgy.

Thanks for your feedback! I wanted to make the game a bit arcade-y and frantic, and I get that kind of dilutes the concept.

The menu, its music and side effects are really good and charming! I really wish the game itself had the same feel though... In the end, the slinky looks... weird and the phsyics are odd as well.. At some point I even manage to go through the floor! I guess slinkies have their limits :p Cool effects but I would recommend to avoid shading the edges of the screen too much~

The death menu is buggy, every option retarts the level :( The soundtrack is very chilly to listen to, me like dis! Controls and feedbacks are a bit obscure though. But the idea.. The idea.. Is simply amazing, there's no other words!

Thanks! I added the death menu last and didn't really test it.

I reached terminal slinky velocity and fell through the floor XD. The gameplay was lacking and the controls let you fly upward in an odd way. However, the art was truly phenomenal; your menu was impressive, and the level and character selection was a good touch. Next time though, I would spend more time on the game concept and less on things like cool menus.

Thanks for the feedback! I think I 'playtested' a bit too much, instead of developing the game, which is a real shame.
