Pretty good game! It was fun! I wish however that there was a way to upgrade your gun cause as enemies kept piling up, it was nearly impossible to prevent them to flood you. Otherwise, pretty cool game!

Definitely one of the more accomplished jam games I've seen. Nicely done.

This game was fucking incredible.
I usually try to give some feedback on what should be improved and whatnot, but this game was near perfection. This is something I would buy on Steam for 10 euros, and you made it in 2 days.
I don't know what to think, I'm not sure you actually made it in 48 hours, it was insane, so much fun, and everything was really good quality.
This is the best game in the jam hands down, and I can say that because now I've played them all.

Thanks for the feedback! The game was indeed made in 48 hours, and the code is an unbelievable mess. I attribute my quick work to the use of LMMS and SFXR for music and sound effects, and using simple behaviours for the enemies, so that I could focus on polish. It came together rather quickly, and I regret not having time to debug the seeking jellyfish things.

The graphics are super nice, the gameplay is really fun and the music and sounds are great. Overall, this is just a really high quality game. I especially like using the launch pads to jump between levels. There could be some more variety in the powerups though.

For me, this is the best game of the jam so far.
From the music to the gameplay, this was genuinely so much fun to play. The music and sound effects gave it a really cool retro arcade game feel, and the art style is brilliant and charming. The gameplay is simple and intuitive. I managed to get to just over 10,000 points on my 2nd run, and every time I started to think it might get repetitive another enemy type showed up to prove me wrong. I also thought the top platform might be easy to exploit (as on the lower waves you only have to worry about the red jellyfish enemies) but soon the big slimes could attack upwards and the centipede-like red ones came at me too. Difficulty balancing is a hard thing to get right, but you've done it perfectly in my opinion.
The only problem I found was that sometimes the enemies would glitch when they entered the elevator, and get stuck outside. I'd also suggest moving the jump button to W.
Overall, this was a lot of fun to play. Any chance you'll port it to mobile?

Hey great job! But dangit I'm supposed to be working!
Really good graphics and sound. Nice use of theme. Some of the enemies got stuck outside the elevator, but other then that everything seemed to work!

This was really good game, good music, gameplay and graphics. I would have prefered to jump button being on W, not on the spacebar. I survived until big slimes came and destroyed me :D I liked this
