Guide a swarm of brave bees to dive-bomb their enemies and claim victory. Each bee only has one chance to attack, so make sure you hit the target and not the ground.
-
'D' button deploys a new bee from one of the four entrances.
-
LEFT/RIGHT directional keys control the bee whilst UP key flies.
-
Attack the enemies from above. The higher distance the bee dives down from, the more damage it will do.
-
Grab the green power pellets to give your bee a temporary strength boost.
-
The stages are over when either all the honey has been eaten, or all of the monsters have been destroyed.

Neat game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the GM48, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/hQAzb_hhkk0

aaaahhhh gawd, check your sound levels.
Neat idea, one thing that annoyed me a lot is the controls.
- first, why do we have to press D each time we want a new bee ?
- since we have to press D, left hand is on the D, right hand on the arrows, right ?
- then WHY do we have to CLICK try again instead of, I don't know... pressing D ???
(I'm exaggerating my reaction, it's not that problematic, but it gets very annoying, especially when you have to really be fast)

Neat idea. I can see how the idea of bees sacrificing themselves developed from theme, though it seems a little downplayed. The actual gameplay is okay but has a few issues such as the random spawns and unreliable enemy collisions. The art looks nice, but the sound effects can get a bit annoying.

Not a bad idea, barely relates to the theme tho, when you have basically infinite bees to try it. Art and sound were ok, the gameplay a little less, it was kinda fun, but felt pretty awkward to play, and the last level was borderline impossible.

I kinda like the idea, but it goes too fast. Controls takes a bit to get used to, but even when you got it, the bees are a bit tedious to control and you need to be high to deal more damage
The "how to play" button was surprisingly difficult to click on

Hey, the art looks really good and the game runs great! It took me a second to figure out the contols but I learned quickly.
I would suggest changing the platforms the player spawns on to be a different sprite. It was a little confusing that the platforms dont kill you when you spawn, but if you touch them down below they do. Just a thought.Good job!

The idea and graphics are great. The controls took a little getting used to, but in the end I was addicted to dive bombing with my bees. Could use some more polish overall though. Will play again.

i like the dive bombing bees, but i feel bad for them. Why not automatically spawn a bee when one dies to save me the trouble of hitting "D"? I didn't get the numbers on the bees. I liked your take on the theme, and the sprites

Hi, thanks for your feedback and playing my game :)
The "D" button was going to be a concept for some later levels that I ran out of time before implementing. In those levels, the drop from the spawn point would squash the bees automatically, and I wanted to give the player a chance to prepare themselves before the next bee was deployed. But in hindsight, I kinda overestimated how many levels I would be able to make in the time-frame.
The numbers on the bees were an indication of the vertical speed and the amount of damage they would do to the bugs on impact.

Cool idea, I really liked the sounds and the take on the theme but some things in the execution really made me mad while playing hahaha.
What was that last stage??? I thought it was impossible but after dozens of tries I managed to pull it off. What really annonyed me is that sometimes there was just one full honey pud left (100) and the bug ate 70 in ONE BITE! >_<
Also, I thought bees were lighter :)SubmittedCangaço StandOff

Thanks for playing and leaving feedback. Yeah, the last level was a bit rushed and probably much harder then I expected it to be. But kudos for managing to beat it :)
As for the honey pods, I'm not quite sure what happened there, as the bugs should have only been able to eat 5-35 in one bite. Admittedly, that in itself may be too much anyway.
These are special (heavy) bees! :D
