I loved the idea, probably one of the best interpretations of the theme, the execution was less than good tho, art was kinda meh, sound was nonexistent except for an earrapey "I'm mr meeseks look at me". level design started well but ended up going for quantity instead of quality, and there wasn't much content to support that decision. I really liked the intro tho.
Overall a nice idea that could've been executed better.

Cool idea, way too repetitive. It doesn't help that the origin of the meeseeks sprite is in the center and not on their feet, which would have made movement much easier. I can't see how you didn't realize it was too hard to get meeseeks on buttons while playtesting.
Plus, I got softlocked in a level wich many buttons and things to shoot, the meeseeks with a gun shot where I told another meeseeks to move (there's a bug when multiple meeseeks exist and sometimes the first one reacts to an instruction given to the second), and that prevented the meeseeks to do anything else. Couldn't select him, but he couldn't even shoot morty when the timer ran out, so I wasn't able to progress or restart.

Okay, I had to give up. Managing to precisely place the meeseeks on the buttons was very frustrating; their feet should go where you click. You have limited time, so it's not helping at all.
As previously stated, the game is pretty unpolished :/ Another issue is the lack of margins on the text boxes, too bad...
Now, as a R&M fan, I'll be honest, the dialogue lacked a few things to really emulate the R&M dialogues. The content is okay, but Rick burps sometimes waaay too much. And most of all... they... don't... stutter... That's the basic identity of R&M :( What can tell the show appart from another. You don't often see character stutter like that... (I read the whole dialogue in my head with their voices, and I couldn't help but mentally add the stutters)

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty: Epic Meeseks Adventure. The gameplay awesomeness is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the fun mechanics will go over a typical viewer’s head. There's also the epic music, so silent that a typical viewer won't hear it without a grasp of theoretical physics mentioned earlier. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of this game, to realise that it's not just a Rick and Morty fangame - it says something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike R&M:EMA truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Meeseks’s existential catchphrase “I'm Mr. Meeseeks”
And yes, by the way, i DO have a R&M:EMA tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for other devs’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothing personnel kid :)

There's some cool ideas here, but it's so unpolished that it makes it more frustrating than anything. Despite that, I did make it pretty far (6 switches and then you have to shoot the thing on the wall) but I gave up after finally getting all the switches and then realizing there was a thing I had to shoot too.
If you do these things I think it could be a lot better:
-
Fix the movement so that meeseeks moves where you click instead of below where you click (so if I click the button, meeseeks moves on the button).
-
Fix the meeseeks so that if you make more than one at a time they don't appear exactly on top of eachother, and fix the bugs when clicking a spot with more than one meeseeks.
-
Add some music and a button on the keyboard (space bar?) that will create another meeseeks without having to move the mouse all the way over to the box.
As a fan of Rick and Morty, I did really like the dialogue and the art at the first screen though, it was bad in mostly the right ways, haha.

God I don't understand why I played this. This was more frustrating than playing call of duty in a full lobby of 7 year olds that are also retarded.

This point and click would have benefited heavily from background music and other sound effects.
I managed to find a bug you might want to look at. If you run out of time on a Meeseeks after you've clicked on the open door to progress to the next level, Meeseeks will still kill Morty, and once Rick reaches the door, the game crashes.
