Take control over the many sons of the famous CRUNGUS to find a cure for colorblindness from the mythical Lizard Wizard! In CRUNGUS 2: The Sons of CRUNGUS, you must use individuals from your squadron of CRUNGbeings as literal stepping stones to victory - float them down a river, throw them on some spikes, set them on fire, they don't care as long as it means victory is assured.

Fun game! I included it in my GM48: Sacrifice compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/j63-vhZNW1o

The presentation in this is fantastic! The graphics are nice and there are even locations with different visual elements. The bits of dialogue from the crungi are a nice touch. The music and sound effects are also spot on. There are even some very well done story bits!
The gameplay is also good, though a bit more of a mixed bag. The base idea is solid and a good use of theme. However, it does mean you often have to retread the same level a lot of times to block stuff with bodies. I also found it odd how almost none of the new elements introduced in later levels interact with the main mechanic. You learn how to body surf early on and that's as far as the mechanic is developed.

Very good game, well polished but also infuriating, and not in a good way. I had to give up at level 14 I think ? This level was just too bad and I couldn't get to the end because I was like 2 crungi short. And in this level I lost more than 2 crungi due to "bugs".
First, there's the thing about this mechanic; like I said for the other game using it; there aren't many option while desining levels with that. You can make a bridge or a wall with a corpse, but that's about it. So it gets repetitive pretty quick.
Then there's the collisions. It's just broken here. I can't imagine how you could have spend so much time polishing the game but leaving the collision issues in. You die too soon on spikes and water. It's especially problematic on water when you don't see the bottom and you need to pick another spot.
And finally, level 14 : you need to sacrifice 2 crungi to make 1 crungus worth of progress, and that's if you don't step in the corner of a pit while trying to go faster.

Might be one of my favorites from this jam! Best title screen and storytelling hands down too (although sadly there was no bitcrushed voice narrating the beginning this time), the ending was especially moving. Surely there must still be hope for the CRUNGkind?
To me, the gameplay was hit n' miss. Some levels were good fun (great boss battle too!), and some were slightly on the tedious/frustrating side due to unforgiving collisions coupled with having to redo the same segment over and over.
Still, great work overall!

Great concept. Good execution. Good sound. And nice level design. Very good job man! Collision detection here and there could make things harder then they should, but really can't complain. Was still loads of fun!

Wow! This was incredibly polished, what with the music, text, and little death sprites. Not to mention full level design and multiple mechanics! I'm rather blown away, especially as a color-blind person. ;)

Very very polished game, especially being made in 48 hours! The art was stellar, the music and sounds were enjoyable and the story was excellent. The tales of the CRUNGI were compelling and other than their sacrificing, their love for their father was heartwarming. The ending was cute, but sad. Gameplay wise this game was very entertaining, and was clean and crisp to move around. My only gripe is the spotty collision detecting on spikes and lava sometimes, as well as needing to fully restart on the final two levels was mildly tedious.
Excellent game!

Wow! That game is extremely polished for a game jam of 48 hours! The visuals and sounds are incredible and the gameplay is very good. A nicely done sequel to Crungus, excellent job!

Very impressive for a 48hr game! Graphics, music and gameplay were great. My only critique would be that sometimes the collision detection was a bit spotty and pressing R every time to respawn was tedious. Also I loved the little bits of dialogue from the Crungi and you matched the theme very well.
Good job :D

Great game! I was really impressed by how much environment art there was and how new elements kept being added to make the game feel fresh. Furthermore, the story helped characterize the world and make us root for the doomed sons of Crungus. But, certain levels felt very repetitive and the raft mechanic often required two crungi to make work.

This is an incredible game for being made in just 48 hours, it's hard for a sequel to be as good as the first game of the series, but dare I say it, this one actually managed to do that, the art was incredible, as was the sound, and level design, and basically everything else in the game.
But above everything else, there's the story, I love how the two games are connected, and the story is done in a really awesome way, I almost cried at the end cutscene, 10/10.

Its clever and colourful. But I'm not exactly sure how I'm supposed to get the floating down the river thing working it seems to decide entirely on its own whether or not it'll float down the river :/
