Cool concept and actually challenging gameplay in the later levels.
Really the only thing missing would be more polish. Small thing like particles effects, juice, music and maybe even a font other than the default one could really bring this game to the next level.
But overall, had fun playing through it, well done! :)

Neat little game! It reminds me of Mega Man Battle Network (although I've never played those, but this is what I imagine those are like XD)
Anyway, it was fun, although a bit repetitive. Saturn was by far the hardest!

Very nice work on the difficulty progression, each boss felt remarakbly different from the previous. A nice little game for such a short jam!

It's not that much to look at it, but I did end up enjoying this game a lot more than I expected to. I enjoyed how each battle against the planets was slightly different and how the difficulty escalated each time. The final boss was particularly interesting. Not a fan of having to restart the whole game when you die though.
The game is definitely lacking in the presentation area. A bunch on squares on a grey background just isn't particularly appealing to look at. The sound effects also get quite repetitive. I will say that I like the art for the planets though. It's amusing how some open their mouth(?) and it was cool seeing Saturn shooting its rings at me.

I really love your interpretation of the theme as the small rocky world against gas giants, that's really clever! The fight against Jupiter was also much more interesting than I expected, so congrats on that. I do think the fights leading up to it were a little lackluster, and there's not much to go off of in the art department (though I loved the cool touches like Saturn shooting rings at you.) Anyway, neat idea, good job!

Awesome game! Loved that intro story and got me straight into it. It had a lot more strategy than I expected, (i was expecting mindlessly shooting bullets) so that made it a lot more interesting. Saturn was the hardest to figure out what it was doing, but i think that's okay. I loved the Jupiter fight :)
I think adding slight variations on the shooting sound effects for the different planets would make them less annoying (just by changing the pitch up/down). I would've also added a quick pre-fire frame before a planet shoots a bullet so you aren't as surprised when it shoots one.

Fun game! Saturn took the longest time for me to beat but I eventually got it :)
