Incredible game, perfect ending too!
The start was also excellent, it was so simple that you knew something was up, bug then it still managed to suprise me with the first anvil 😂 The puzzles were simple enough overall but the mechanics were still interesting.
Two things I didn't like:
- The level with lots of buttons and a canon, the jump were a little too precise.
- The level with the 3 trapdoors. I mean, the level is fine, but I don't like how anvil are one use only all of a sudden! There should be another thing in between with a new object so that you know how it works. But I understand that it's a jam and creating new content isn't easy.

Thanks for the review! We tried to have the anvils get deleted when they broke a board, but after your comments I realize there is no reason to pick them back up after you have destroyed a board before the penultimate level, so that may have been overlooked and probably wasn't a great teaching mechanic.

It had odd charm, and I liked the game ^^ Here is my gameplay: https://youtu.be/fD5nZ1gACGY?t=2466
Did you take pictures of yourself and traced them for character? (and added mohawk hair :D )

Not uh, exactly sure what happened there at the end, but I chuckled :)
I misunderstood the cannon for most of my time with TOSOG, I thought they only had 2 shots. I think this was due to the longish delay before you could get back into the cannon.
Nice job
PS. I uploaded a video of my playthrough

I really enjoyed this game! It looked super cool, the gameplay was unique and engaging, and I loved the audio!! It was spooky and fun! The puzzles weren't too easy, but not overly difficult as well. I can't wait for the sequel!

For the record, I completed the entire thing. I did not find it particularly entertaining though :(
I think you'd have gotten more bang for your buck if you'd made fewer levels and spent more time polishing.

You can clip through walls (most visible at the triple hatches where you clip from hatch to hatch), your character doesn't touch the ground, your art in general is bad in a way that I can only describe as "memes", the game play is boring, repetitive, and generally not interesting (my opinion, others might like it), your coding isn't very good.
Take the purple doors for example, took me lots of trial and error to eventually figure out the only way to open them as a ghost was by floating an anvil up to the top and standing on the top of the door since it wouldn't open when trying to walk into it regular like. Cannons don't have basic physics for the balls, not necessary but slightly expected. The "lets just put down lots of cannonball buttons" level was "trollish" at best.

Oh my god that ending. 11/10 ending full of twists and betrayal. The controls and graphics aren't the most universally appealing things but it does have a uniqueness and charm that is super easy to love (Is that rotoscoped?), plus the puzzles are very clever and the first time you die is pretty funny. I think the last level can be cheesed since the anvil doesn't disappear if half of it lands on the ground and the other half lands on one of the breakable boards btw. Speedrun strats.

This has a very Adult Swim type of quality to it, which definitely gives it charm. It's hard to say what, if anything should be changed, because it all seems to work within that aesthetic.

That was an unexpected turn haha, interesting concept, though when it said to try and possess things, I spent far too long thinking I could possess the potion itself, I think an arrow or something to indicate what I was meant to possess would have made it clearer, other than that though, good job, it was a lot of fun :)

This was a game that I unexpectedly enjoyed a lot! It had its charm to it and I thought the ending was really funny.
