I had a lot of fun with this one, I tried to make a simple concept and focus more on the replay value and the fun competitve nature of it rather than over-complicating it with feature bloat and more bits-and-bobs that people wouldn't see. I think the thing I'd learned is that people tend to only play these games for a few minutes each when judging so first impressions are everything. This is also the first time I made the music myself and it's the highest score I'd ever got in that category so maybe I'm not as awful at making noise as I thought I was!
Take control of two lil piggies on opposite platforms in this cutesy retro arcade game!
Just like Newton's third law, where something good will happen on one pigs side, the opposite will happen to the pig on the other, your job is to keep them both safe and guide them to those tasty apples and cakes and rack up the best score you can!
Keep your eye on both sides as the difficulty begins to ramp up and avoid falling off the edges or being stomped, flattened, squashed, impaled or jammed!
The highest score this jam was Evoleo! with 271, congratulations!

Wow, I really like how polished this game is! The menu really gives the impression this is a full game and not a game jam game! I did not get all the time what was going on, but I guess that's intentional.

My record is 113, i am bad at this 🙃
It's pretty fun but gets suuuper stressful so I can't play it for more than a handful of minutes at a time. The controls being kinda delayed was really annoying as well as it led to accidentally running off the edge lots of times (I realise this is on purpose, considering the shoe powerup fixes this, but that just seems like bad game design :S )
It it wasn't for those things, I could easily imagine trying to beat the high score :V

Whew... my brain is thoroughly fried haha, and I didn't even do that well XD
This was a really polished entry! Definitely reminds me of Big Bob's Breakfast, as far as art and main menu go :) Seems like there's an overarching food theme going on, but maybe that's just a coincidence.
I couldn't even break 100, so congrats to Evo for 200+!
I had an issue one time where my piggie died from spawning and falling through an empty space (cart or bomb had removed the playing space).
I'm not sure how I feel about letting the player walk off the edge... maybe that's just me wanting the game to be easier, heh.

Haha I'm glad you enjoyed it :) and well Evo seems to be rather skilled but I still enjoyed your play-through!
I assure you that the food theme is entirely coincidental but this time at least apples are a healthier choice haha! I do tend to go for a similar style of menu in jam games as well :)
And yeah, the occasional double-death bug is an issue I've repaired for the post-release, I was meant to use clever timing to set the blocks to return and everything else to go just before the pig's return but sadly my timing was just a little off! Thanks for playing though! :)

Sooo good! You've made a super solid, polished, and most importantly fun game. The visual and audio cues are great. Nice and effective trick to speed up the music. My highest score was 196. The only gripe I have is that if you die somehow and then a bomb explodes just before you respawn, you can die twice in what feels like an unfair way.
Also... great title.

Yeah, I tried to be clever with the timing so they'd respawn just before you return but unfortunately sometimes if you're very unlucky the timing is a little off, I've fixed that now though so no more accidental double deaths in the post jam version :)

Really a great game that fits the "mobile" aesthetic perfectly, except you couldn't play this on mobile properly as touchscreens are too slow.

Aw i love pigs. Fun characters and great use of the theme. Love the high paced action! Very different from the chill game you did last jam. I love that the attacks are telegraphed well so you don't feel cheated if you get hit. One issue is sometimes when you respawn you die immediately again if you're unlucky. Maybe a small invulnerability timer could help with that. Great fun and cool vibes!!

As much as I like my last entry, I'd decided whatever I do for this one, it needs a bit more action :) and yeah, the double-death glitch has been fixed, basically I tried to time it so that all the enemies leave and blocks come back before you respawn and while that usually happens, occasionally the timing is a little off, but I've fixed that now for the post jam version :) Thanks for playing and thank you so much for the feedback!

I'll take my 116 score. My biggest compliment goes to the graphics. As chaotic and frenetic as the game can get, it's super clear from the first playthrough what you need to do and what you need to avoid. It is the fun kind of stressful, great game packed with polish!

A simple game well executed. Funny ideas, and a good concept. The start of the game is pretty slow but it get hard real fast! I honestly expected to get stuck by different combinations of hazards, but even when I was stuck the game opened up just at the right time. Don't know if I was lucky or if there's some timing wizardry but that was an intense moment :D

Haha frantic and fun. I kept falling of the sides.
Love the mine/cart where it destroys one of the islands and put apples on the other.
I don't like that you lose the life when you come back. the first 2 times I didn't realize why I was losing.
