Survive as long as possible
How To Play:
Press A and D to move left and right
Press LMB and RMB to move the biomes left and right
Swim through the bloom of jellyfish
If you touch jellyfish which are a different color to the biome you are in, you will lose a large sum of health
Eating fish will restore your health
If you approach a fish that is a different color to the biome you're in, it will swim away
The idea was kind of original; "Game is intentionally hard/confusing" >> Okay for it being hard, but inverting the expected way to make it "confusing" on purpose doesn't seem to be a good idea to me. Make it hard by what happens; struggling with the controls is rarely a good thing.
Though I got used to it, even if it felt strange. I felt wrong while I was doing right, and it made me feel a bit uneasy.
My issue was mostly the shift of color though. Everytime you change color, every single thing from the screen changes as well, which is a bit too confusing and distracting to keep focus. So it didn't quite make the game harder, it mostly made it feel less comfortable.
That said, not a bad idea!Submitted
Eerie music was good. Graphics weren't out of the world, but not bad either. Gameplay was sadly something you get bored of quickly, but it didn't have any bugs, so it was solid.Submitted
I... I can't. LMB shifts everything to the right, while RMB goes to the left??? It's a cool game, but it's reaaaaaally confusingSubmitted
The shifting colours of the player character confused me a bit at first. I think it's just aesthetic? Took a few games to get my head around but quite addictive and nice audio.
EDIT: Understood! I guess I just thought the colour of the squid had a bigger impact on gameplay. Really cool game thoughSubmitted
