Color Defense is a tower defense game where you must match up the color of the tower with the enemies coming at you. Use the cartridge slots in the towers to change the color of your bullets.

Very clever idea! I included it in my GM48: Colors are Important compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

    Cool game!
Game was really fun to play.
The color switching was a bit finicky sometimes.
Some more enemy types would have been great. Overall a cool tower defense times :D

It's simple and I love it. You find the right balance of game interaction and letting the game reward you for your efforts. It definitely speaks tower defense while also proving something different.

Great interactive gameplay overall, good way to make tower defence more fun in general. Money gains a bit to quickly, I was able to buy lots of the cartridges and towers in bulk in the beginning and forget about it later. Switching cartridges could use some streamlining as well. Fun game overall.

This game is very different from all the other games I have played so far. It was quite fun and enjoyable. If there was one thing I would like in this game if it gets developed more is more stages, songs and more difficulties. But so far a pretty good game and very original!

Ended up playing this one through to the very end. I like how the game kept me on my feet with the mixed-colored enemies after about the halfway point. Pretty engaging game overall, but it could be improved with (like what some other people said) a speed-up button, a pause button, etc. Overall, this was a really enjoyable game.

Niceeeeeee, love that game play and music <3 Could use some speed up button tho and possibility to cancel tower build.

The interfaced for buying cartridges made me accidently spend all my money at first. Clicking and dragging them to the inventory in the same way you equip the towers might allow for error reduction. Addictive tower defence game, great especially for a first jam entry!

This is a great game. Although the UI may be confusing at first, it's very fun once you get used to it. The color swapping mechanic makes defending the tower interactive, and the difficulty scaling is very good. Also, this game fits the theme very well.
