Lovely little toy! I included it in my GM48: Colors are Important compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/5oPza5MRAiY

What a charming entry! It gives me strong Rainworld vibes, and just has a really great organic feel. Plus the tunes are pretty groovy. Awesome job!

I loved this entry - it's small but for a game jam game it's very refined. The swaying of the trees and the slow pace of movement added a lot to the game's wonderful feel. I was able to get all the flies while ignoring the color change mechanic, but being able to match the trees was cool nonetheless. Great job! I'll keep an eye on your work in the future!

Yeah I definitely have to mess with values some more to get the mechanic more apparent. It's a great feeling when you finally get things working the way you want, it took a long time for me to even get the branches on the screen after going through and generating a bunch of ds_maps with recursion (every segment has it's own map with values so I can loop over it for physics and finding the closest point in all the branches to the mouse). Thank you for playing and the great feedback! ;D

This is a great entry. I didn't read the description before I started playing the first time so I didn't really understand what was going on. But after I read the description and played it again. I got it and loved it. Good Job

Yeah I should've thrown something within the game for directions. I was going to but was pressed for time when I got some bugs at the end and only got to play-test for a couple minutes. It's kind of why I normally stick to 3 day jams because I can set aside the title sequence, info and play-testing for the last day. Glad you eventually got it though, thanks for playing and the great feedback! ;D

Wow he proc gen in this game is amazing even the character itself is so nice and minimalist but i dont see how this game goes with the theme tho

It does relate to the theme in that the flies won't avoid you while you're the same color of the leaves, making for easy pickings. I do understand though that it may not be as apparent as I didn't get to play with the values too much before the end of the jam. Thanks for playing and the feedback! ;D

Awesome procedural tech. The physics on the trees work nicely with the fluid climbing. I just couldn't get those last... two... flies.

If they're not reachable you can change your color when you're sort of close so they move to a new position that's more suitable for their demise. And thanks ;D it wasn't easy makin the trees and limbs flail around as intended https://twitter.com/voxeledphoton/status/1086889358316179458 loads of math stuff. Thank you! and you're game looks awesome as well (saw it in the discord def will be my first one to play through I've been busy with school stuff this week).

This is a really cool game. The chameleon is responsive and the randomly generated trees work perfectly. The color blend mechanic is really cool, but sometimes it's hard to tell if it is working or not.

I'll have to play with the values a bit more to make it more rely on the mechanic atm it just picks a random place in the room to slerp it's new location to when the player is within a certain distance and outside a specific range of color relative to the leaves.
Thanks for playing and the great feedback!
