I liked the sprites of the tank and the randomly generated terrain is cool. I didn't have a second player to properly play the game with so I just messed around on my own. I liked the movement of the tanks and although it took a while to get used to I also enjoyed being able to move the turret seperately. I did discover a couple of bugs while playing.

The first one is that if both Player 1 and Player 2 destroy each other simultaneously then it displays Player 1 Wins and Player 2 Wins over the top of one another so you can see both a 1 and 2 overlapping.

The other was actually an error in the game. It happened after firing a mega missle and having the player who fired it drive into the explosion before it dissipated:

############################################################################################ ERROR in action number 1 of Step Event0 for object obj_mega_missile:

Unable to find instance for object index 100070 at gml_Object_obj_mega_missile_Step_0 ############################################################################################ gml_Object_obj_mega_missile_Step_0 (line -1)

I couldn't repeat the error after that one time though. Overall it was a cool game and I'm sure it would've been good fun to play with another player. If I get a chance to play it with someone else before the voting period ends I will do.

It's very satisfying to blow up everything in your path (thanks in no small part to the well-animated explosions), and the randomly-generated terrain is a nice touch. Nicely done!

The destructable and randomly generated terrain are awesome! I wish there were some sounds but it's a fun game to play with a friend.

    Good work!

Awesome job doing a multiplayer game for a game jam, I love to see that! I liked the idea of this type of tank game underground with destrcutable terrain. I think that concept could be taken pretty far!

Me and my son did two player together.

This is actually a really cool idea. Being able to blow apart the walls and so on can give a player satisfaction. Feeling like they have left a mark in the game world etc.

My son is pretty young so he struggled with the controls but I was able to get used to it pretty quickly and helped teach him how to play it. So with controls they feel "Tanky" where you can move the body of the tank and the head of the tank also move forwards and backwards which is cool but maybe a tiny bit daunting for new/younger players. I was able to manage and get used to it though.

I liked the look of the actual tanks and I can understand how the actual levels don't have extra details or different tile sets just yet (given the timeframe to make the game). Procedural generation is cool and it's good that if you do get placed in an area where you're "walled" off you can just shoot through the tiles to get out. I liked how there was muzzle flashes and mini little explosions etc.

I was cool with the game my son struggled a teeny tiny bit so maybe a little simplification for controls could go down well.
