I agree with you that the game has balance issues. The original idea was for each of the characters to have their own strength and weaknesses on how they were controlled. The types of guns that the characters held would also have their own differences. For example, a shotgun would shoot slower and need to be reloaded more often, but dishes out more damage in a short burst than any gun; As opposed, a rifle can deal more precise and consistent damage.

Really solid entry, everything from art to sound and polish is top notch.
Only some small problems here and there like the way too long time to retry and the complete lack of progression, something like a scoring system or different enemies as you go down would've given the game a more complete sense of progress.
But overall it's pretty good in everything it has, it just lacks some minor details.
Also I loved the random characters with different weapons, Corn is OP.Submitted
Really superb theme and initially I was ecstatic at the idea of playing some food with a gun fighting against bacteria with guns.
However there are some problems.
The player's bullets look identical to enemy bullets. Makes it very difficult, at least initially, to identify where one should be dodging. Fortunately it's not that bad because enemy bullets are far slower than player ones; good call.
There's no feedback when you get hit. I got hit countless times without so much as noticing.

The music is super cool and the visuals are really nice. However, I feel like it's missing audio/visual effects for when you kill enemies and get hit - for a while I didn't even realise I was taking damage. Anyway, I like how each bit of food has a different gun. It would be nice if you could choose which food/gun to use.
I also found a bug: Pressing the retry button seems to reset the timer, so if you keep pressing it the game will never restart.Submitted
Fun little game. Very simple but easy to get. Love the graphics and the music. The only thing I would add is more room to play in and different looking bullets for the enemies so you could see them apart from your own. Other then that great job!Submitted
