Description

In Twelve o'Clock you play as a little clock racing to the finish line. The only thing in its way: timed platforms.
Solve puzzles and platform through the 12 levels of this cute little experimental game!
Controls: A-D/left-right to move; spacebar to jump; aim and click to shoot items.
Fun tip: use the scroll wheel on the level select screen!

Challenging game! I included it in my GM48: Countdown compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/kXdTBNclSjs

I enjoyed this game a lot! I thought the idea was very innovative and most of the levels were definitely a challenge.

Was unable to progress in the level where there is a red and green clock with a steel wall. I can't manage to throw the red in time for the green to go through and all.

Overall, timing is super, super tight and it makes it frustrating for me. Maybe a normal mode and hard mode would be nice. Keep in mind a game is ALWAYS more difficult for the player than it is for you that made it.

On top of that, the controls are pretty quick, making it difficult to be precise, especially since you're pressured by the time.

That said, pretty nice lever of polish and the game feels pretty nice!

EDIT: Oh right, sorry about that! Yes, the game feels better when the timing is adjusted

Hi there Kwis, thanks for the feedback! If you wish to replay the game with a little bit more leeway, you can change the timing factor in the options (I anticipated this type of feedback :P)

One of the best games of the jam, charming, polished and some real thought provoking puzzles, definitely high chance of winning

You have perfectly hit the theme! The originality of the mechanics and the short levels make the game really fun to play.

Probably one of the best game of the jam :)

This is absolutely the best game for any game jam I've played ever. And I've played a ton of good games! This was a short, fun, quick, cute experience that I will never forget. I really suggest that you work on this in the future!

I CAN'T MOVE WITH ARROWS, JUMP WITH SPACE BAR BUT ALSO SHOOT WITH THE MOUSE I ONLY HAVE TWO HANDS.

Sorry fort that, but there's a "up" arrow too :'(

Anyways, fun game! Good visuals and audio, and really cool concept. I like how you tried to apply the counter on different things, but the thing that bothered me is the clocks you can throw. I just can't remember which is which, and I ended up kinda brute forcing levels, trying to shoot stuff in different order. It's not that big of a problem, but it's weird to have abilities you don't really master.

Really cool game. It seemed like a basic concept at first but quickly became more interesting with the addition of different count down speeds and the clocks that can modify the timers. I like how the gameplay combines quick reflexes and puzzle solving.

The overall presentation is great too. The visuals look nice plus the music and sound effects compliment the game well. The level select screen was definitely the highlight for me. It's a creative idea and fits the theme of the game perfectly.

Post-mortem

There doesn't seem to be anything here.
