Phew! I got it done.
You have to loop through the level to score points. The slower you do a loop, the more hazards get added. You only have eight lives, however. If you can do 20 loops in a row w/o dying, you get a flawless label to your score.
There are two stages, one that emphasizes spikes, and one for saws.
Controls
Arrows keys to move
Z to jump
F4 for full screen
Esc to go back to menu (when in stage) or exit game
R will reset you, but will cost a life

Your score does not reset inbetween stages, if you really care about it you would have to reset the game. (minor)

- if the controls are keyboard, especially if you use both hands, it feels weird that the menu cannot be controlled by the keyboard
- Coyote frames in precision platformers are often a good idea (a small delay just when leaving an edge to have some spare frames to jump)
- I like that there are 2 levels!
- And the idea is cool
- Art and music fit well!

I wish you would have added WASD movement as well as the arrow keys. Also, Z for jumping feels a bit off, especially on keyboard layouts that switch the places of Z and Y

Very nice game this time! The platforming feels really precise and the challenge ramps up at a good pace.

Crap, I accidently just deleted my feedback I spent ten minutes writing; <https://bit.ly/2M3MF9t>
Alright, speedrun time:
Firstly, I find it interesting that despite Seltzy helping out massively with the art and music (Which he did really well at), it still seemed to retain your minimalist style, which I am quite happy for as it still feels like one of your games at heart.
I won't complain too much about it being a platformer, as I know that's what you're used to making, although I feel like this jam is gonna kill me with all the platformers for this theme
However, despite that, the concept was actually decently innovative; Sure I've seen the concept before, but that's not what this is about, what matters is how well you executed it, and the polish involved, which from what I've seen, the game's really well polished, with the one "bug" left being mentioned by you, showing some sort of awareness. Although, depending on how you randomly place the obstacles, there could probably be alot more ¯_(ツ)_/¯.
Because of the atmosphere made with the art and music, alongside the score system, the game felt immersive and addicting, and thanks to the fact that you added more than one stage, it doesn't get bland too quickly, especially with the goal to get
20 in a row without dying
I've gotta head out now, so I'll message you anything else I have to say privately later, but thanks for submitting your game, and I personally really enjoyed it! -Loates
