King's treasure stands on top of the tower. You have to climb tower. But be careful, spiders and traps will try to stop you.
Controls:
-> W/A/S/D or Arrow keys to move
-> Space to jump. Hold space to jump longer.
-> "F" to fullscreen and "R" to restart
Cool game with some really polished aspects, but I guess I'm really unlucky because I had a long series of bad level generation with impossible obstacles. Like only one ledge to grab with a saw just below it.
I think for a jam like this where you don't really have time to extensively test the game or build a really good algorithm, complete procedural generation should be avoided. Instead use pre-designed blocks, with some spots for variation & obstacles.

I like the way you jump! Needing to hold it is cool and makes it more about planing your landings. I also love that you are so generous with the ledge grabs, makes the game feel fair and good to control.
Bug: Sometimes when grabbing a ledge from below, almost missing it, the game freezes. There probably is an infinite loop somewhere in the collisions. Really bad when it happens, cause alt+del+shift is needed to close the game.
Sounds are... a bit too basic. It felt a bit annoying to me because it's so sharp and rather loud.
I wish the game was a bit brighter, like in your description page.
That said I love that the game randomly generates a map, although it makes some ledges impossible (or extremely challenging) to grab sometimes. But it's still kinda fun!

Good idea, and fun enough - except sometimes it generates obstacles that are seemingly impossible to pass :/

This was nice game, I liked this, how you are climbing the tower from the outside. The randomization gave sometimes bit too hard jumps and you needed to be really precise. The character felt bit too slippery, maybe it could be during the air, but when you catch ledge etc. you could have really solid grip. I slipped out of ledge couple of times, like in my high score 1420 something :( This was good, nice graphics, but maybe too dark. (I didn't notice full screen option ^^") Some music could have been there, it was atleast nice to have some sounds there. But the beginning text typing sound was too loud and jarring, gave bad first impression :s But it was good game, well done :)

I really liked the sprite animation of the player - like when you hold down space and they tense up to jump, or when you fall from a really high height and their falling sprite changes - lovely attention to detail.
Quite a lot of my runs up the tower were stopped because the procedural generation meant there was simply not a ledge in reach, or it had spawned directly under a static hazard. Otherwise an impressive implementation of procedural generation - that's not easy to do in 48 hours!

This game ended up enticing me more than expected. It had a similar charm to what Girp had when I played it back in the day. I felt the air acceleration was a little unforgiving (I missed many ledges because I was moving faster than expected). But a solid entry and very true to the theme.

Challenging. It reminds me of a mobile game I can't remember the name of. I like the artstyle and the shadows you have implemented. Maybe make the hardest jumps in the random generation a bit easier, because some stones are only just reachable. It also happens that a crumbling one spawns on top or under a normal stone. Another "Issue" is that if you jump on the ladder while pressing the button to go down the player doesn't jump and it just looks a bit strange with the camera.
Overall I really liked playing it. Sfx are fitting, would play again.
