Coming straight from the overscoping dimension, I present to you :
Of Course There's a Tower
Or, as it's known to its makers (me): what I don't even know what to do with this theme I'll just wing it I'm sure it'll be fine let's just start by typing a few lines of dialog yeah everything is okay here help.
In Of Course There's a Tower, you'll find a Tower, and you will need to Climb it to win.
There's also a few bonuses here and there.
Mouse, Left Click. Then you can throw in a few specific actions with Spacebar, C, X or even the Left Click again (they all do the same thing).
And if you really want to, you can move with the Arrow Keys, WASD, or ZQSD, whatever.
Sometimes you'll find enemies, they look like... nothing, really. It's those dark green critters with red eyes. If you touch them, they'll slow your ascension. You can also pick up those diamond things (it's the icon of the game) to get a boost and climb faster.
Notes & Known issues:
Due to the nature of the game, I didn't have much time to playtest absolutely everything. There might be a lot of typos and some parts might crash (hopefully not), but the important ones work. So if you stumble upon a crash, try another route.
- For some reason the music keeps playing after climbing a tower, it shouldn't happen but it won't loop over itself so that's not too bad.
- If you climb by stairs, your progress can go in the negative, that was supposed to be fixed. Must have missed it in that level. Sorry.
Special Thanks:
Beun and Celim respectively for their short and less short music loop.
ZA/UM for making a game that I wanted to play for 48h è_é
You for even getting this far.

I didn't get at first that it was multi choice, i just thought there was a dialog I could advance; design might be a bit too simple in that regard
Interesting concepts! I really like that we can make our own tower. It's a bit basic on edges but at least the choices are there! That's pretty cool

Yeah that's something I hadn't considered at all but I think it was proble that had a similar experience during his stream and didn't realize he made choices at first :D
There's definitely a lack of feedback when making choices.

Best text adventure game ever, I loved how the dialogue choices actually effect the outcome of the "tower" you climb. Very interesting concept.

Thanks!
But I think Adam Cadre's Endless, Nameless might be a SLIGHTLY better text adventure :D

What's even worse is that I'm pretty sure it's something I corrected but I put a d instead of a b...

Really liked it. There were some instances where the text would glitch to the top left corner of the screen after a mini game, but I have to say that there was a lot more to do than expected, well done!

Thanks! :D
I'm guessing the top-left glitch is the progress bar going below the limit on the left I you get hit by ennemies? (something I missed in the stairs mini-game) If not I'm not sure what you're referring to

I really like this idea, but it seems like you would need a lot more development time to make the mini-games interesting to play (they are a pretty good goof though).

Thanks for your comment!
Yeah, the whole first day was basically the text part, that left me with <12h for everything relative to the mini-games which was barely enough :D
